As Cass Baumer arrives at the parking lot, she watches as a friend slowly makes her way out of a tinted midnight black Hummer. Phoenix Quagliaterre speaks to the driver in Italian, directing him somewhere but she spins around on her heels and spots Cass. Giving a nod of her head in a form of greeting, Phoenix makes her way over to Cass with a friendly smile.
Phoenix Quagliaterre: Ahhh Cass, such a beautiful night tonight, am I right? As well as a victorious one it shall be.
With a small smirk, the less-than-classy Cass nods in return.
Cass Baumer: Got that right! You got me successfully defending this FAW Hardcore Championship against Jade Night, then you got one of the Laroux brothers coming away with the Showcase Championship in the battle royal? Tonight must be like Christmas for you, huh? And you don’t even gotta fight tonight!
As Cass glances towards the midnight black Hummer with wide eyes, she glances back at Phe.
Cass Baumer: Hummers, drivers, yachts… It’s amazing to me how someone like you could ever have a bad day.
Phoenix chuckles with amusement, looking back at the departing Hummer before returning her attention back to Cass.
Phoenix Quagliaterre: Such a glamorous life can sometimes have it's dark days, trust me.. As far as not fighting tonight.. It looks like I may have to spill blood after all. Ash Scion was spotted earlier today in Vegas so she will be not ducking me and making it to our match. And I should make sure it shall be her last.. Well hopefully.
Phoenix studies Cass closely with building curiosity for a moment.
Phoenix Quagliaterre: You have quite a fight on your hands tonight but I see you pulling away and retaining. Far as the Showcase battle royale..
She sighs with confliction.
Phoenix Quagliaterre: Gabe and X competing in matches not on the same side will always be the death of me.. But I know a Laroux will emerge victorious tonight.. Just the matter of “which” one. But, I do have some concerns on another matter regarding.. The social media explosion that happened a few days ago concerning dear Laina. You really took lots of hits from that and I have been concerned about you. How are you, Cass?
Cass thought for a moment, scrunching her face some as the memories came flooding back.
Cass Baumer: I’m… Doing better since then. It seems most of it blew over with time. Stuff like that… It’s fickle. People see a new shiny rumor and they forget the last one almost instantly. Hell, even Xavier seems to have forgiven me for that mistake. I’m guessing I’ve got you to thank for that?
The Headliner took a breath, glancing at the FAW Hardcore Championship over her shoulder.
Cass Baumer: In an attempt to do the right thing… Things blew up way out of proportion. We should have handled it on our own. We should have privately spoke to Alaina and used compassion to make her understand like we were supposed to in the original plan but all I ended up doing was humiliating her…
Cassandra shook her head back and forth.
Cass Baumer: You wanna know something, though? Everyone kept criticising me for ‘making fun of the drug addiction’ but… Let’s face it. I’m high practically 70 percent of the time, give or take. I’m addicted too. Whether I wanna look at it like that or not, it’s true. So if I was making fun of it… Well, then I was making fun of myself at the same time. I’ve got no place to judge, you know? In an attempt to help you guys out, I just managed to make it worse.
Phoenix Quagliaterre: I know that you were trying to help and I told X over and over again that you were. That you meant no harm, that you weren't trying to do something malicious in a way to Laina to one up Lennox. He's still very upset but it is only because this situation regarding Laina is fragile to his feelings. His baby sister.. He feels as if he's failed her…
Phoenix lightly shakes her head.
Phoenix Quagliaterre: There will be a way to pull Laina from this darkness and when the time comes, we will know and we will know how to do so. But until then..
Phoenix taps the plate of the FAW Hardcore Championship draped over Cass’ shoulder.
Phoenix Quagliaterre: You’ve got to focus on keeping that and me? Well.. The Firebird has a funeral to prepare for.
Cass’ serious expression slowly turned into a smile.
Cass Baumer: Doubt it means much but I’m rooting for ya in that tournament, Phe. You’re one of the good ones. Feels like that list of people is going down by the day.
Straightening her back and standing upright, Cass’ eyebrows furrowed.
Cass Baumer: And when the tournament is over and I’m still champion… Can I expect to see you getting a shot at this thing or nah?
With a small smile, the FAW Hardcore Champion attempts to motivate The Firebird herself. Phoenix begins to grin as the cockiness shows on her face.
Phoenix Quagliaterre: Of course it'll be me at the finish line. And we'll tear down the roof when it's time for our match too.
With a proud nod, Cass extends her arm for a fist bump. As the two fists collide, the originator of the #BaumerReport leads Phoenix Quagliaterre into the arena as the camera flickers to something else.

The scene opens up backstage and Jade Night is standing with in front of a camera. She has on a black sports bra and the black and red tights that she wears to the ring for her matches. Her eyes glare into the camera with a seriousness that we have seen from her before.
Jade Night: So tonight.. I fight against Cassandra Baumer. Oh sweet little Cass, you’ve been running around, bragging about how you’re the headliner… How you’re the most important one in FAW… But let me ask you this, does anyone believe that besides you? It’s more and more clear how delusional you truly are.
Jade chuckles.
Jade Night: Then there’s your reports. You and your controversies have pushed away anyone who has supported you. Jay… Lyric… Xavier… Phe… Gabriel… It’s also been funny seeing you go back and forth between sides. How can your integrity as a reporter be trusted if you continue to flip sides? I get it though, you’re all about whoever likes you. Here’s the thing, Cass, nobody really likes you.
She smirks and nods.
Jade Night: That’s right, you’re universally hated. And those who do like you? The Josh Kennedy’s of the world? Well, it’s obvious that they don’t even have half a brain to realize how much of a cunt you truly are. Soon enough you’ll turn on Josh like you’ve done everyone else and he won’t see it coming. Probably because he had some C4 blow up in his face over at Slaughterhouse and he loses his memory after every ten minutes but I digress…
Jade steps closer to the camera and glares into it, her dark brown eyes piercing.
Jade Night: Your Hardcore Championship? I’m going to make it mine. Why? Because I want it. I want to show everyone what a real tough woman is like. You parade around like you know what pain is but let me tell you something, you little bitch… You don’t know pain. I know pain. I know pain that nobody on this roster knows of. I’ve been to hell and back… I was brought there by a man who took my career… My life… My sanity.
Jade pauses and her eyes look at the ground for a few moments. Talking about what she experienced is obviously taking an effect on her. A few more moments pass before her eyes look up and lock onto the camera again, this time a fiery rage burning in them.
Jade Night: But no more. I won’t let the monsters of my past rule over me. No… I will be the monster. I will be the FAW Hardcore Champion that will be FEARED. I won’t be someone who’s made a joke of like you are, baumer. You are weak. You are pathetic. You are a fucking punchline. And tonight? You’re my victim.
Jade then quickly walks off and disappears from the scene which fades away.

Cecily Bell smiles as she looks at the camera. Her hair is a mess as she is in her wrestling gear.
Rafi Cruz do you really think that you can beat me?
She smirks a bit as she takes a deep breath.
This is my chance to keep on doing what I want to do and that is to prove to everyone here in this company that I've not lost a step.
She takes a deep breath again.
Rafi you are stopping me. Ever since I've been questioned I've stood up. Now there is a carrot in front of me and that is hurting Cass Baumer. The one that started the rumor long ago. She needs to be taught a lesson and you are just standing in the way.
She smiles as she gets up and walks off.
Hardcore Championship
Cass Baumer v Jade Night
It was an extremely brutal match with both women pushing each other to their absolute limits. Cass busted Jade open, as blood ran down her face, creating a mask type look; Jade seemed to snap in response, going hard as Cass and driving her through the steel steps. Both women kept going at it hard, weapons pulled from under the ring littered the canvas along with blood and sweat.
The arrival of Gabriel Laroux on the ramp distracted both, but Jade was able to quickly swoop up a baseball bat, smashing it into Cass’ skull and sending her down like a sack of potatoes! With a three count, Jade was out of the ring, belt in hand and hopped the barrier just as Gabriel ran to the ring, with a smirk Jade thrust the title into the air before disappearing.

The scene cuts backstage to Sophie Grimes and newly acquired FAW talent, Corey Grimes, standing by catering.
Sophie Grimes: Cousin! It’s time for your big interview!
Corey looks over at Sophie and rolls his eyes.
Corey Grimes: Yeah, yeah! What’s up, Soph? Crazy to see you here!
Sophie perks up.
Sophie Grimes: I know right!? They had an opening and I always wanted to do this kind of thing. I was getting super bored sitting at home doing nothing and… Oh, I’m rambling. SO! How does it feel to have a shot at the Showcase Championship tonight in your big debut?
Corey smiles and shrugs.
Corey Grimes: I don’t know. I guess it feels good but I ain’t gonna let the pressure get to me. Xavier Laroux was already tryin’ to trash talk me to try and get in my head but I ain’t fazed by it. I’m a Grimes, through and through. You know Soph, you know we don’t give up and that we fight harder than anyone else does. I might not be Gavin, but you know what? Nobody knows what I am yet. I’m an unknown commodity and that’s an advantage for me.
Sophie nods before asking another question.
Sophie Grimes: Who do you think is the biggest threat in this match?
Corey Grimes: Everyone is a threat. I’m focused on everyone and I’m not singling nobody out. You can count on that.
Sophie Grimes: Awesome. I think that’s good for now! Good luck Corey!
Sophie grabs her cousin and squeezes him in for an awkward hug.
Sophie Grimes: I believe in you. We all do!
She lets him go and chuckles.
Corey Grimes: Thanks Soph. I’ll see you later tonight, alright?
Just then before Corey can leave, his sister ,Izzi Grimes, pops up in the scene.
Izzi Grimes: Oh my God! You two started this reunion without me! I am SO mad!
Izzi laughs before she playfully punches Corey in the shoulder.
Izzi Grimes: Jerkface!
Izzi grabs Sophie and hugs her and Sophie looks at the camera with an awkward and confused look.
Sophie Grimes: Uhhh…
Izzi lets go of Sophie and looks at her with a confused look.
Izzi Grimes: What? Did I say something wrong?
Sophie points at the camera.
Sophie Grimes: We’re live on air, doing an interview.
Izzi’s cheeks flush.
Izzi Grimes: Oh my God!!! I am so sorry! This is so awkward!
Corey simply sighs and shakes his head as Sophie looks at the camera and raises the mic to her face, trying to be as professional as possible.
Sophie Grimes: Anyway, there you have it! Words from the great Corey Grimes! Back to you folks at ringside!
The scene fades out.

I’m your favorite drug!
Your favorite drug!
Just one hit is never enough!
The crowd rose with that mixed reaction as, from behind those black velvet curtains, “YOUR Favorite Drug” Xavier Laroux emerged to his adoring public. Rather than his usual upbeat, arrogant attitude, this Xavier was rather bummed out. A dejected look upon his features, his shoulders slumped, Xavier made his way down that ramp, half heartedly slapping hands with the reaching fans. Once reaching that ring, he walked around ringside, being handed a microphone along the way. Stopping suddenly, he leaned down to fling the ring skirt up and pulling out a steel chair. Sliding it into the ring, he followed suit, rolling in under the bottom set of ropes. Setting that chair up, Laroux took his seat, bringing the microphone up close enough to be able to talk into it.
Xavier Laroux: When I first joined Fuckin Awesome Wrestling alongside my brother Gabriel..I wanted this to be fun..and it was. Man, I hadda hell of a time teamin with Gabe, causin shit left and right. But then things started to go downhill. All of a sudden..it just wasn’t fun anymore..
Slowly, Xavier shook his head a bit, bringing his free hand up to rub the back of his head in a nervousness indicator.
Xavier Laroux: Between havin Zoo-E up my ass, Lennox attackin my family, Gabe abandonin me and causin me to lose the reason I even came to this fuckin place, and my own fuckin sister throwin me off a goddamn stage..I’m at the end of my rope. I’m just..done. I’m done tryina fight for someone who don’t want me to fight for them. I’m done tryinta save someone who’s too far fuckin gone. I’m done tryinta have fun in this business..because y’know what?
Rising up out of that chair, a slight smirk began to creep across the features of Xavier, his eyebrows lowering as his head tilted to the side just a bit.
Xavier Laroux: A really good friend of mine was just talkin to me bout this the other day. I disagreed at the time..but I can’t help but to agree one hundred percent. This business isn’t fun. Somebody always hasta take things too far. The funny thing is..I usta be one of those people. I usta be that guy who took things too far. Maybe..that’s what I need to start doin again..maybe I need to start gettin them afore they get me. Maybe I need to dismiss this silly ass notion of havin fun and just do what I do best.
It was as if the realization struck Laroux like a bolt of lightning. That smirk continued to grow until it was at its usual arrogant feeling. He nodded his head his head slowly, laughing softly.
Xavier Laroux: Tonight..I have the chance to do somethin I ain’t done in a minute..hold singles gold. I got the opportunity to stand alone in this ring and raise that Showcase Championship but in order to do that, I gotta go through more than a few people..which is perfectly okay..I mean..who’s in it that even compares to me?
Nobody with the last name Callaghan, that’s for fuckin sure.
Gavin lite? Yeah okay.
My boy Lex know Ima hafta handle that ass if he feels froggy.
Alexander Parker? Fiona Irishlastname? Kimi Young, Ciara Barten, Kameron Young, Sawyer Reed, I honestly don’t give a flyin fuck bout any of them. Legit hadda look up most of them to know who the fuck they were. I know I prolly forgot one of two of ya, but y’know what..
Even the champion himself doesn’t measure up to what I’m capable of doin within these ropes. When I set my mind to doin somethin then there’s nobody who can stop me from doin it. And tonight? I’ve set my mind to walkin out as the new Fuckin Awesome Showcase Champion. No more fun ladies and gentlemen. Only me..over them.
Dropping that microphone, Xavier nodded his head slowly before walking towards those ropes and ducking out only to make his way back up the ramp, his arms held outwards as that mixed reaction rained down.

The scene cuts backstage where Jade Night walking towards her locker room. She has her newly won FAW Hardcore Championship in her hand and before she can make it to her locker room, an excited Sophie Grimes pops up in front of her with a microphone.
Sophie Grimes: JADE! Hiiii!
The serious look on Jade’s face changes to a smile as she looks at the younger sibling of Gavin Grimes.
Jade Night: Hey Soph… Nice to see you around here instead of that bitch they hired before.
Sophie’s eyes widen.
Sophie Grimes: Uh… Yeah! I’m glad to be here! So, big win, huh? You’re the NEW FAW HARDCORE CHAMPION! How does it feel?
Jade smirks and shrugs.
Jade Night: It feels alright, I suppose. I’m just glad I proved all the doubters wrong and now that I’ve got this monkey off my back, I have my eyes set elsewhere.
Sophie’s brow furrows.
Sophie Grimes: Oh really? Like the FAW Heavyweight Championship!?
Jade shakes her head.
Jade Night: No, that will come in time. Right now, I’m focused on defending this championship and also… Gabriel Laroux.
Jade’s eyes narrow as they glare into the camera and Sophie looks at her with a surprised look.
Sophie Grimes: Oh!? Gabriel? Why?
Jade Night: Because he thinks he can talk down to me for trying to be there for my family. Lyric matters to me and he’s got her all confused and mixed up. She fell too fast for him and now her whole life is him. All him and his brother have done is cause trouble for me and my family. I put myself on the line for Xavier at one point and I did that for Lyric because she cares for Gabriel. But I’m saying no more.
Jade shakes her head.
Jade Night: You want to teach me a lesson, Gabriel? You want to have words with me? Well trust me, you stupid fuck, we’re going to have words… But the only one who’s going to be learning a lesson is you, you disrespectful piece of shit.
Jade steps closer to the camera and glares into it.
Jade Night: See you soon, Gabe… Maybe sooner than you think.
Jade lets out a cackle before she looks back at Sophie and smirks.
Jade Night: Thanks for the interview, kiddo. Tell your brother I said hi.
Sophie Grimes: Oh… Uh, I will! And thanks!
Jade walks away from the scene and it cuts away.
Hardcore #1 Contendership Match
Rafael Cruz v Cecily Bell
Both competitors battle from the sound of the bell. Rafi got ahead though as he works over Cecily with his speed and strong strikes. But Bell was able to battle back and connects with a superkick and covers Rafi. Cruz gets his foot on the bottom rope but the official doesn't see and still makes the three count.

Get up off your knees, boy.
Stand face to face with your God
And find out what you are.
Hello, my name is human.
Highly Suspect’s Hello, My Name Is Human played through those well placed speakers, the harmony flowing through almost hypnotically. Stepping through those curtains would be the Fuckin Awesome Showcase Champion, “The Antagonist” Gabriel Laroux. That Championship draped over his shoulder, Gabriel wore a pair of black slacks and that unbuttoned black jacket over his bared torso. Black sunglasses covering his eyes, Gabriel began his descent down the ramp, a blank, emotionless gaze about him as he walked straight towards that ring.
Once reaching the end of the ramp, he walked up to that ring as he climbed up onto the apron, ducking down between the top and middle sets of ropes, slipping into the ring. Walking to the opposite side of the ring, he ducked back between those ropes, being handed a microphone. Flipping it on, he walked to the middle of the ring where he stood tall.
Gabriel Laroux: When I won this championship from Cecily Bell, I knew that this was only the beginning. I knew that this..
He slapped the title for emphasis.
Gabriel Laroux: Was just the start. Despite a few..detours..along the way, I have been headed on the path up ever since getting my first taste of singles gold. Tonight, my ascension will continue as I throw challenger after challenger over the top rope. One by one..they will all fall. My own brother. Ones who have faced me before. Ones who haven’t. Each one of them will know the determination I have to keep what’s mine..and what’s mine? This Showcase Championship. But..that’s not all I have to address here tonight..
The stiffening of Gabriel’s stance showed that this was something that was proving to be quite the bother to him.
Gabriel Laroux: A few nights ago, I was attacked by two individuals..claiming to be Alaina’s new family. And as you saw earlier this evening, they chose to attack me again, this time dragging Xavier into it. We fought them all through this arena. Now, we’re going to do something different. Alaina..I know you’re back there and you got your boys with you. How about you three come out here and we do this face to face.
Throwing that microphone to the side, Gabriel pulled the Showcase Championship off of his shoulder before raising it high into the air, the crowd cheering out. Dropping that title to the side, he pulled off the jacket, much to the pleasure of the female members of the audience, tossing it to the side.
Tell me, how you’re sleeping easy,
How you’re only thinking of yourself.
Show me, how you justify
Telling all your lies like second nature.
Listen
Mark my words, one day,
You will pay..you will pay..
Karma’s gonna come collect your debt!
Those black velvet curtains thrown open, Set It Off’s Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing setting the mood as Alaina Laroux stepped out from behind them. Flanked on either side of her were two young men. The men were identical in appearance, unable to distinguish which one was which. With Alaina taking the lead, the trio began to make the way down that ramp, ignoring the negative reaction pouring down onto them. They stopped at about the midway point of the ramp, Alaina bringing a microphone up to her lips to speak.
Alaina Laroux: Gabriel..Gabriel..Gabriel..when will you learn?
Gabriel Laroux: The only thing that either of us are going to learn is what happens when you turn your back on family. I’m no..
Alaina Laroux: I’m not Xavier. Blah, blah, blah Gabe. You keep repeating the same thing over and over again. You’re right, you’re not Xavier. You’re better. The Gabriel that brought me up and nearly sent me to hell? That’s not the one that was taken out by my family. I saw the whole thing, dearest brother. You were sloppy. Your guard was down. You basically invited them to attack you. What happened? Are you going soft? Are you losing the edge that’s kept you alive through sooo many situations in which a normal man would have died?
A near snarl escaping his lips as Gabriel rushed towards the ropes, yelling at Alaina and the twins to get in the ring. Even to the point of sitting down on the middle rope, pushing the top one up, inviting them in.
Gabriel Laroux: COME SEE HOW SOFT I AM!
The look on Alaina’s face told the whole story. Laughing out, she shook her head, waving off the challenge issued by Gabriel. Turning, she began to walk away, the twins following behind only for Alaina to stop. Slowly, she turned around, a rather devious smirk on her features. Speaking inaudibly to those two, she pointed down towards the ring. They parted from her, making their way the rest of the way down the ramp as they approached the ring. Gabriel took a few steps back, readying himself for a fight.
Those two climbed up onto the apron before ducking into the ring in unison. Before they could take another step, Xavier Laroux hopped over the crowd barricade, quickly sliding into the ring and standing at Gabriel’s side. A concerned looking Alaina yelled out, calling the attention of her family. She motioned them back as they turned to look at Xavier and Gabriel before looking back to Alaina and ducking out of the ring much to the crowd’s displeasure, their boos reflecting that.
Alaina Laroux: We’re not doing this. Their fight isn’t with you two. MINE IS!
As Alaina and her accomplices made their exit, Gabriel turned to pat Xavier on the back. The two nodding their heads at one another, Gabriel went to pick up his Showcase Championship. No sooner than when he turned around, Xavier shot up, catching his older brother flush in the jaw with that Bicycle Knee Strike! The Showcase Champion dropped like a sack of bricks after the strike. Bending down, Xavier grabbed up the Showcase Championship, raising it high into the air, embracing in that split reaction he was receiving.
Draping it across the chest of Gabriel, Xavier looked down to the fallen man, that oh so arrogant smirk plastered to his face. Backing up, Xavier ducked out to the apron, dropping to the ringside area. As Laroux backed up the ramp, that smirk never once wavered as he made his exit, leaving a fallen Gabriel in the ring.

Beat the Boss
Melissa Reeves v Zooey Anderson
Once Melissa was in the ring, it became obvious the match was essentially a set up, with several people surrounding the ring, all on the side of the GM who taunted Melissa, turning her back to her only to get a hard kick to back of the head for her trouble.
Once the bell rung, Mel was on Zooey from the get go, never actually letting her up from the canvas she beat Zooey down relentlessly before picking up a solid count from which Zooey was unable to kick out.

As her match ends and “No End in Sight” by Killswitch Engage plays, Melissa Reeves stands in the ring. She looks up to the fans, her face clearly showing that she is out there for business, the intensity in her eyes plain to see. She motions for and is handed a microphone. She talks with a slight breathlessness.
Melissa: “Good evening, Las Vegas!”
The fans cheer for themselves.
Melissa: “What a night this has been, huh? FAW Delirium, live. Zooey Anderson defeated by Melissa Reeves, right here in this ring. And that, folks, means we’re another step closer to my rightful title opportunity against that mute we call champion, Noah Nakamura.”
Some fans cheer him too, although a few do seem to boo.
Melissa: “Tonight’s match, as you all know, directly impacts on that title opportunity, too. See, now that I defeated Zooey Anderson, I get the chance to pick my own stipulation. I get to face Noah on my terms. And I know you’re all wondering, what will that be?”
She shrugs and then smirks.
Melissa: “It was an easy pick. Some of you may not know, but I used to specialise in extreme matches. Hardcore, last man standing, table, all of that. So when push comes to shove I find myself drawn back to my old ways. I find myself drawn back to the Melissa Reeves I used to be on the indy circuit, the one they started calling Reaver because I would arrive, take what I wanted, and leave. The girl who takes no prisoners and takes no shit.”
She paces around the ring a little.
Melissa: “So my choice is simple. The battle with Noah will require my entire might...and so I will go back to what I know best. I pick that my match versus Noah is...a TABLES, LADDER & CHAIRS MATCH!”
The fans let out a collective ‘whoa’.
Melissa: “That’s right, Noah Nakamura, Melissa Reeves, TLC.”
She leans into the camera, real close.
Melissa: “See you soon, Noah.”
She drops the mic and exits the ring, grinning.

The shot fades in slow, a vintage, grainy black and white filter on the feed that reveals a guy in a hooded sweatshirt sitting at the top of a short flight of concrete stairs. His arms are braced on his knees, a can of Pepsi Fire dangling between limp fingers. He lifts his head, his soulful eyes locking on the camera, identity unmistakable.
Lex Collins: The ol' adage 'careful what you wish for' has been stuck in my head for the last week. Said I wanted a re-deal, shuffle the deck an' give me better cards. Well, here we are. If this ain't a hand a guy can make bank on, I dunno what is.
There's a tired smile on his lips for a second before he replaces it with the soda can, taking a drink.
Lex Collins: Big opportunity. Never had the chance to wrestle with Gabe Laroux before. Did with his brother a time or two in a place I'd rather not get into. I know the pedigree there. I know a few others in the match intimately enough after running over them the past couple weeks. An' hey, now my future hangs on a shiny gold chain above my head, conveniently out of reach to taunt me – orchestrated to make me think things've changed? An' that, folks, that's the voice of anxiety right there. He lifts his free hand, scrubbing it over his lips.
Lex Collins:See, my track record in rumbles is kinda shit 'cause of that. Too much goin' on an' I usedta get….
He shrugs.
Lex Collins: That's not to say I can't… 'cause I will. I have, y'know? Been in a bunch with title shots on the line, peckin' order reset opportunities… this thing called a Midas Touch. Fiona prob'ly remembers that joke of a match. Scraps of paper, things suspended in the air… been there, done that. Can do it again if that's what I'm slated to – don't get me wrong. I know what this job entails. I know I came off like a goddamned prick on social media. Not gonna backpedal. I'll own that. There was a lot of shit goin' on an' I chose to lash out 'steada bein' adult about it. You're throwin' the dog a bone here an' I appreciate it.
He falls silent for a few seconds, looking off-camera before a rueful chuckle escapes.
Lex Collins: Yeah. I know. I just can't… it's been years since I had to start at the bottom so I'm feelin' more stranger in a strange land than worthy contender for that Showcase championship. An' maybe it's a little funny how it all circles back – Cecily Bell held that belt once. Thought losin' it meant she'd lost all credibility. Thought cavin' in my face was gonna get it back for her. In this business, more often'n not, perception becomes reality. She heard laughter on the wind – it is what it is. My entrance into the company began with a loss, began with me on the backfoot an' I've been scramblin' to get my stance righted since. Don't like that provin' ground bullshit, I guess.
He closes his eyes for a few seconds, breathing in and out slowly.
Lex Collins:I can't walk away from this now. There's more'n pride on the line. There're people here I wanna work with, people I wanna wrestle an' instead I'm back here singin' the blues. I've got a brainstorm tonight, that's for damned sure.
He chuckles, shaking his head.
Lex Collins:I'm doin' that positive visualization, seein' myself with that belt raised overhead – a future filled with publicity shots. It's been a while, y'know? I miss that. I want that so bad, you got no idea. I wanna hear them cheerin' my name again. This is that endless moment, that one thing I always reach for. The pressure kills me a little, but it doesn't matter. Mortality's part of livin'. Every minute's killin' you slowly. Seizin' the moment's a choice – the ONLY choice. Three people in this match I've already beaten. The rest're about to find out what that feels like.
He nods.
Lex Collins: Flashes poppin', my music blarin'… all the voices raised in celebration while those words ring out over the noise… your winner AND NEW Showcase Champion… Lex Collins – gotta admit that has a real great ring to it, don't it? Yeah. Really does. So hey, keep watchin' tonight. Find out if I'm psychic… or just psycho.
He laughs again.
Lex Collins: I'm a stranger in a strange land that I instinctively know. I'm on a mission. It's not holy but its purpose is divine. I am so damned fired up I'm gonna burn the place to the ground. I need to do this. Not for me. For her. I need to prove that her faith wasn't wasted. I don't want this.
I NEED IT.
It's as essential as breathin' an' I will be the last man standin' tonight even if it kills me.

Liam Callaghan: And as you can see, we’re used to winning belts. Hell, I’ve got two of them right here with me.
Sean Callaghan: And we got the advantage cuz Liam and I? We’re gonna work together. We ALWAYS work together.
Liam Callaghan: Can’t say much for the rest of the field, huh?
Sean laughs and shakes his head.
Sean Callaghan: None of them have the bond that we got. We’re brothers and we’re best friends. We know each other like no other. And most of all, we’re the fuckin’ Pride of Southie!
Liam Callaghan: Exactly! And tonight, we bring another championship home to South Boston. Doesn’t matter if it’s me or Sean… One of us is going to walk out of there the Showcase Champion.
Sean steps up to the camera and smirks.
Sean Callaghan: That’s right. And the rest of you? You can get fucked.
The two nod and walk away from the scene before it fades away.

!!!SEGMENT!!!
The scene cuts backstage to Liam and Sean Callaghan in front of a camera, their FAW Tag titles strapped to their shoulders, and Liam also has his PNW Championship with him as well.
Sean Callaghan: Tonight, Liam and I have a chance to become the Showcase Champion.
Liam nods in agreement.

And the final entry was Xavier Laroux, joining Sean Callaghan and Gabriel Laroux in the ring; the brothers were quick to team up, with Gabriel eliminating Sean over the top rope after the pair beat him down a fair amount.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Jade Night slid under the bottom rope and attacked Gabriel, moving to surprise him and throw him over the top rope. The pair brawled across the ring some before Xavier stepped in, unable to pull the pair apart, Xavier instead flipped BOTH Jade and Gabriel over the top rope, eliminating his brother and crowning himself the NEW Showcase Champion!
