”I’m really tired of the back and forth with some of the people in this match. Tristen said one piece and went AWOL it seems. Ash apparently can’t bring herself to admit to the fact that I won the title. Lacklan… let’s just say she’s a few bio-neural gelpaks short of a functioning ship computer.
“I should just drop that particular subject, but Lacklan insists on being a damn gnat. She’s like a caster who’s put all her stats into DoTs. Sure they can build and drive down effectiveness, but they only finish the job if there’s burst to go with it. Near as I can tell, Lacklan has no burst, just more DoTs. Or to go with Cass’ metaphor, Lacklan is like Ana where the DoT is fast, but insignificant. Let’s be perfectly clear here: damage over time does not equal damage per second. And Lacklan can’t fish a rogue’s or hunter’s DPS out of legendaries.
“You know it’s interesting that Lacklan and I have been the consistent ones putting out promos, but where Lacklan has been pretty much all her own hype, I’ve been pointing out that I’m the one still getting the attention. For obvious reasons, being champion and swooping in, defeating Ash Scion. Lacklan knows she would never have accomplished that and so she thinks this will be something akin to cakewalk. But everyone knows the cake is a lie and so is Lacklan’s hype.
“Ash and Tristen, they’ve been gone for awhile and that’s too bad. I mean it’s good in a way because Ash isn’t coming after me with the ‘borrowing’ the title and the ‘gamer’ shots like I don’t belong in the same ring as her. I really want to keep my respect for Ash after the end of this match because she’s the reason I even got into this business. I wanted, still want, to emulate her in all the ways I personally can. An aim not devoid of merit as one John Hammond would say. Tristen, I don’t know what to say about that. I just hope that he brings a good fight.
“But let’s go over Cass’ statement while that’s still fresh. She compared me to a Control game with D. Va. Now I do cosplay D. Va but I don’t play her all that often and certainly not in Control for the very reasons she listed. But the thing is she listed McCree as the final shot and everyone who plays knows McCree is fucking OP. Yea he’s been nerfed a few times but with the other rebalances adjusting for his nerf, he’s still pretty much as OP as it gets. There’s no one who fits that description in this match. Not even me.
“Ash wants a Division of One, but she didn’t count on me. Tristen is barely in this it seems. Cass and Lacklan otherwise at each other until my promo the other day. All things add up to one conclusion: advantage, Geekette Extraordinaire. Time to play.”
