The scene opened up, revealing a rather shocked “YOUR Favorite Drug” Xavier Laroux as he stood in front of the counter in an unknown drug store. Originally focusing on Xavier himself, the focus slowly moved down to that counter, a pregnancy test to be more specific. Focus returning to Xavier, he had an almost caught look on his face. Looking down to that test, he returned his focus to the one holding the camera. His lips parting nut nothing escaping except for an ‘uh’ sound.
”..you guys just kinda show up whenever and wherever, huh? Well okay, it's like this..”
Before Laroux could continue focus returned to that test once more as Xavier stepped forward to grab the camera, returning himself to the sole focus position. Tonight’s attire consisted of a pair of loose fitting blue denim jeans and a white t-shirt, the words ‘Why have ED when you can be XL?’ scrawled across the chest of it. Clearly not amused, Xavier shook his head slowly as no more than a moment later, that oh so arrogant smirk grew out across his face. As he was paying for his purchase, he began to speak.
”Sometimes, in this business, you gotta do things you don't really wanna do. Ask anyone. If you're not capable of starin across the ring at someone you're really good friends with, fully ready to take their head off by any means necessary..then this ain't for you. That or you can't have friends in this. Which leads me to my upcoming match in Fuckin Awesome Wrestling. I get to go one on one with a very good friend of mine, the FAW Hardcore Champion..Cass Baumer. I’ve been in there against people I consider family. Hell, I beat the hell outta Kay in a match while we were together. This match against Cass, it’s just that..a match. No more, no less. You’re gonna be treated like my opponent because as soon as that bell rings, that’s what you are. But..that ain’t even what I’m worried bout. The thing that really complicates things?
My older brother, Gabe, is the special guest referee for this Hardcore Match. Now, I don’t even know if this is him tryinta get at me for SAP, for leavin him to get fucked up by the Callaghans or if he’s gonna go after Cass. I can’t worry bout that last part. Lemme tell you right now, if Gabe so decides to jump you, Cass..I’m gonna take full advantage of that. It’s just who I am. Right now, I’m bein paid to beat you, not to do the right thing. I’m not gonna apologize for it. Even beyond the possibility of that happenin, this is a Hardcore Match. Which means, it’s perfectly within the rules to do anythin and everythin possible to get the three count over on you. It doesn’t mean I don’t see you as a friend or anythin like that.”
Being handed the receipt, Xavier grabbed up the pregnancy test off of the counter, looking back towards the man holding the camera. Not acknowledging the elephant in the room, Laroux chose to continue talking about Cass as he made his exit from that drug store, walking out into the cool night air. His eyes closing slowly as he was hit by the air, he sighed contently, opening his eyes back up.
”There was a bit of a blowup on Twitter that I’d like to address and we talked bout this, me and you. But it’s like this. You’ve been a good Hardcore Champion, don’t get me wrong. But should you come up against Phe or Laina, you know which way I gotta go. It’s nothin against you, really. If it was anyone else other than those two, I’d root for you. It’s just like in our match, if it wasn’t against me, I’d have your back. Butttt, you’re not facin anyone else. You’re facin me. Someone who has more than enough experience in Hardcore Matches to really do more than enough damage to keep you down long enough to get the win. Someone who is capable of takin out anyone standin across from me. I hope it doesn’t come to that Cass, really I don’t. But if it does, just remember that I warned you ahead of time. I fully hope you’re ready for what’s comin, Cass.”
Slapping that box against his free hand, Xavier nodded as he walked up to the car he had parked on the curb. Leaning against it, he held his arms out, that oh so arrogant smirk growing across his face.
”The Headliner versus YOUR Favorite Drug. I’d talk more but..y’know..”
Looking towards that test in his hand, his eyebrows raising up before sighing softly, ducking into that car and driving off as the scene faded to black.
