Fucking Awesome Wrestling Presents:
Delirium
Sunday May 21st
(Segment deadline Friday May 19th 23:59 central)
SEGMENT
The cameras cut to the back where former FAW Showcase Champion, Noah Nakamura is slightly pacing in front of a FAW banner. He is dressed to complete and runs his hand through his hair before looking at the camera.
Noah Nakamura: Tonight I have a match against The Grounds wrestler, Kai Walker in a match that is a showcase for the fans to watch and enjoy. That's one of the big reasons I wrestle is to excite the fans, keep them on the edge of their seats and leave them going home talking about the amazing match they saw me in. But you all know that, I have said it before and it's something I have put a spotlight on since joining FAW.
He paces a bit more.
Noah Nakamura: But the next FAW show... The supershow? I have my chance to get the biggest prize in this company in the FAW Championship and I get to fix the one loss I have here against Julian Savell. When I took on Chris Night at the last supershow, I tapped into something that I wasn't sure I had, that cut throat mentally. I needed it against him and I'm going to need it against Julian as well. I'm coming for you Julian. Not to impress the fans, not for my father's spirit but because I WANT that championship. I want to take it from you and hold it above you in victory. I want to stamp my foot on your head and leave you with a loss for your career and championship-less.
A slightly sinister grin comes to Noah's face.
Noah Nakamura: You see Julian, I'm fully ready for you to get personal, say whatever about my pregnant girlfriend, Sixx and our relationship. I'm fully ready for it because you need to go that route you need to attack my life because you know I'm coming for that title and I'm leaving with it too. Go ahead and bring up that you won our first go around in that ladder match. Maybe that will help you sleep better at night after you eat a pin from me...
He chuckles slightly.
Noah Nakamura: Because you know that's going to haunt you and piss you off... Right Julian?
Noah laughs a bit before turning and walking off camera.
SEGMENT
Kenzi stared at herself in the mirror as she slipped on her black elbow pads, her brow creased in deep concentration. Suddenly a pair of pale hands with fiery red polish appeared on her shoulders as Sarah Lacklan’s head popped over her left shoulder, eyes blazing.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Are you really going to strip that silly little girl naked in the ring tonight?
Kenzi chuckled, then gave a shrug.
Kenzi Grey: The boss wants her to fight, so maybe she’ll fight if I threaten to do it.
Sarah smiled, showing off twin rows of perfectly straight white teeth. Her red eyes flashed with excitement.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: I think you should strip that harlot, even if she does fight you!
Kenzi turned and threw her arms over Sarah’s shoulders and kissed her.
Kenzi Grey: For you then…and maybe just a little for me, for what she did.
Sarah arched her brow at this comment.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Beloved…TruthZone…you don’t seriously blame that little girl who plays at being a doctor for what happened in your match, do you? I hope you realize that was all Cassandra’s doing! I know you consider her a friend, but trust me…she is nothing of the sort!
Kenzi took a deep breath as she cast her gaze down to the floor for a moment.
Kenzi Grey: I know what Cass is and I know what she did. I thought that she was just misunderstood…but I see now that she is more like a child with a loaded machine gun. That Baumer Report got out of hand quickly, and even when people told her to be careful, she just kept firing randomly into the crowd at friend and foe alike! Next thing I know Melissa is leaving the band…she’s saying things about you…and then she’s tweeting at my other company about beating me. She’s out of control! Yeah…I know what she did last match, and she’ll get what she has coming to her…but tonight is about Lyric.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Still have it in for her then…or is this more of you being a lapdog for the Boss Lady?
Kenzi Grey: I totally have it in for Lyric! She made it a point to harass me on social media…so now she has my attention, and I’m going to show her that having my attention is not what you want! She says that she’s a pacifist…we’ll see if she stays one after I start stripping her in the middle of that ring!
Kenzi paused and gave a devilish grin.
Kenzi Grey: As for the Boss Lady…I’ll be her lapdog anytime she needs me to be! I’ll fetch and bark whenever she wants…and maybe she’ll throw me a bone…you never know.
Kenzi grinned as she walked past Sarah, patting her on her rear end. Sarah folded her arms as she glared at Kenzi.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: That BETTER be a metaphorical bone!
SEGMENT
Cecily Bell is in the back. She has her FAW Showcase title on a chair next to her. She has both of her wrestling boots on. She starts to tie them up and takes a deep breath and starts to speak to herself.
Cecily Bell: You’ve got this. You are the champion for a reason.
She looks up and closes her eyes when she opens them Gabriel stands before her. She quickly snapped as she reached over and grabbed her title.
Cecily Bell: What do you want?
The Antagonist held his arms out, presenting himself in a near peaceful manner. Those eyes traveled down to look that title over, a slight grin creeping across his features.
Gabriel Laroux: I think it's painfully obvious just what I am after, Cecily.
Slowly, Gabriel lowered his arms back down to his sides. Diverting his attention to Cecily herself, a slight angle of the head to follow.
Gabriel Laroux: I've had a question, but one I felt most appropriate to ask to your face. How important is it, to you, to defeat me?
An inquisitive expression broke out as he never once broke eye contact with Ms. Bell. Cecily got up and looked at Gabriel. She took a deep breath as she then looked back at her title.
Cecily Bell: It is VERY important for me to beat you Gabriel. When you asked me a little while ago how it felt to have a title again and I said something that you didn’t like, right there it made me see that you wanted to push me in your own way. Winning this title was something I needed to do to solidify myself as a good wrestler.
Again she took a deep breath.
Cecily Bell: When I walked away before I left everything on the table because I wasn’t sure if I really had it anymore. But then I came back and look at what I have done since I have been back. You see now I need to beat you to prove that what I have been doing isn’t a fluke...why do you need to defeat me Gabriel?
There was a rather pleased look upon that man's face caused by her answer. The question she followed up with had his eyes slowly closing shut. With little though, he spoke to answer her question.
Gabriel Laroux: Defeating you for that championship shows everyone that I am more than a Tag Team Wrestler. Defeating you shows a guy like Asmodeus Bael that I am everything I say that I am. Defeating you..shows that it was worth choosing one company over the other.
Slowly, he opened those eyes, his gaze locked back down at Cecily.
Gabriel Laroux: Defeating you is something I won't fail at accomplishing.
She took a look at her title again and shook her head. Her eyes locked onto his and smirked a bit.
Cecily Bell: That is what I want from you Gabriel, I want that fire. I want you to THINK that you can beat me. But do you know what is cute?
She took a deep breath and walked up closer to him.
Cecily Bell: That EVERY single person has always thought that I am less than what I really am. But EVERY time I have proved them wrong. People didn’t think I’d be a champion here or there but you know what? I have been. Nothing is taking away the accomplishments that I have gotten, and this title is another one that I have. I want to beat you, and I need to beat you so all of the doubters are proven wrong yet again.
She smiled once more as she looked at him.
Cecily Bell: But good luck Gabriel. When you and I are destroying each other in that ring I want you to keep thinking that you won’t fail, because I cannot wait to make you fail. This is my title and it will not be easy taking it away from me.
Gabriel Laroux: I don't underestimate you, Cecily. I do not doubt what you've accomplished nor do I doubt what you're capable of. But you've been in that ring with me before, you remember that surely?
The expression of Gabriel fell, an aura of seriousness overtaking him as he continued on.
Gabriel Laroux: That was just a taste..a sample of what I am capable of. The time is at hand for us both to see what the other can truly do in that ring on our own. Are you ready?
She smiles and walks past him.
Cecily Bell: I am. See you out there.
She looks back at him and waves as she walks down the hallway.
Fan Favorite Exhibition Match
Noah Nakamura v Kai Walker
The duo showed off for the crowd, both using their impressive in ring ability to truly put on a showcase… The arena was electric as flips and kicks were thrown and dropped from all angles, both men doing their federations proud.
Both men with clean hits and some truly impressive showmanship, whilst remaining respectful of each other in the ring. Noah landed some strong kicks that echoed throughout the arena on impact.
Eventually, Noah got the upper hand and with a clean set up, nailed Kai with the Air Nakamura for the three count.
WINNER: Noah Nakamura
SEGMENT
The scene cuts backstage to Ryan Callaghan sitting down on a steel chair in his locker room. He’s already dressed down into his ring gear as he sits there, obviously in deep thought. A few moments pass when. Ryan’s brothers, Sean and Liam, walk into the room. Ryan stands up and gives his two brothers a hug each and he slightly smiles as he looks at them.
Ryan Callaghan: Hey guys, what's up?
Ryan lets out a sigh as he finishes the sentence, obviously he's got a lot on his mind.
Sean Callaghan: Not much, man, just wanted to make sure you're ready for this match with Xavier. This isn't just about a win for you, it's about getting Liam and I a shot at those tag belts, which we deserve.
Ryan looks down at the ground and nods slowly, it's clear that he’s definitely not his normal self. Liam places a hand on Ryan’s shoulder to comfort him.
Liam Callaghan: Hey… Noel is going to be alright. Don't beat yourself up anymore about not following her to Boston. Just go out there and don't fight for me and Sean… Do it for Noel and our family as a whole, yeah? You're representing all of us.
Ryan looks up and cracks a smile for the first time.
Ryan Callaghan: You're right. I know I haven't been the best brother to all of you but I'm going to change that tonight. Xavier Laroux is going down and you two are going to get those tag belts they've been fucking you over with.
Sean pats Ryan’s shoulder and responds.
Sean Callaghan: That’s what I'm fucking talkin’ about! That's the Ryan we need! Show the world what the Callaghan’s are made of tonight. You did it against Natasha a few weeks ago, now you can do it against Xavier.
Liam Callaghan: Exactly! Ryan will take care of business with X while you and me take out Baumer Report bitch and Adam Sandy-Vag.
Ryan lets out a laugh before placing a hand on a shoulder of Liam and Sean each.
Ryan Callaghan: Hey… Make sure to fuck up Baumer a bit for the shit she said to me. I love you guys.
The three brothers do a quick group hug before Sean and Liam both give Ryan a nod and walk away, leaving the older Callaghan to himself.
Singles Match Ryan Callaghan v Xavier Laroux
Ryan was accompanied to the ring by his brothers, the match got under way and some back and forth was shared between Xavier and Ryan, but Liam was quick to jump up on the apron, distracting the official so that Sean could get into the ring, after the two eldest brothers double teamed Laroux, Sean handed Ryan some brass knuckles and Ryan laid out a right hook that out Xavier flat, Sean exited the ring with the weapon as the official turned to see the pin and make the count.
the brothers all celebrated in the ring standing over the fallen Xavier Laroux, finally on their path to justice being done.
SEGMENT
The camera shoots to the back where we find Sarah Selena Lacklan sitting in a chair before a small laptop computer. The Red Queen is dressed for battle in her black bodysuit covered in flames that fits tight around her curves, but she also wears one of her cloaks with the hood up to hide her hair and most of her face. She presses a few buttons on the laptop and starts talking into it.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: ‘Sup, Denizens!
That is right, you Fucking Awesome audience. You have come across a shooting of……….
THE PRINCESSTWILIGHTSEXYFANG PODCAST!!!!!!
Sarah Selena Lacklan: This is your ambassador of Fucking Awesome, the Fucking Awesome Queen herself, Sarah ‘Kickass’ Lacklan here with a vlog from INSIDE the Fucking Awesome venue!
Sarah looks around and raises one of her perfectly shaped eyebrows.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: I’m...not exactly sure where we are. Or what day it is. Or anything, really. I have been SOOOOO busy hashtag Fighting the World Across the World...and yes, I actually SAID ‘hashtag,’ Adrien...that I’m not exactly sure when and where it is. But you know what I DO know? The Blood Reavers get to kick some Fucking twin ass tonight!
See, Mel and I, who are TOTES back on the same page and having tea parties and shit, are going up against to UBER new wrestlers....who happen to be twins! Because...apparently...you are only allowed to be a tag team in Fucking Awesome if you are siblings! We’ve got the champs themselves, the Laroux Bros, and then the two worst Callaghans of the bunch are together, and Mel is OBVS my Big Sister in all this, and now Das Wunderkin Times Deux! But the MEGA HUGE difference between the Wonder Twits and the rest of the sibling teams is that they have ZERO experience.
‘ERMAHGERD WE IZ TEAM SINCE THE WOMB AND HE HAZ ALL THE L337 SKLZ’
Bitches, please. While it CAN be said that I am not the MOST experienced wrestler in the world, I have been training since I was, like, 14. And these legs?
Sarah moves one of her legs into the shot and flexes, the surprisingly massive corded muscles popping.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: I can crush a man’s soul with these babies. FUCK, I’m hawt!
She sits back down to get her sharp, pale, and insanely beautiful face in the shot.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: And Mel? TEH REAV? She’s, like, ancient compared to me. Over 25. So OLD! She looks great for her age, But you know what that really means? She has more experience than the three of us….COMBINED! Like, if the three of our work histories combined itself, like say how the bad guys in Power Rangers go from normal size to Super Giant Mothra size, Mel’s ability would just get all Zorded up and blow us to smithereens! And Mel’s Mega Zord? TOTES cooler than Savell’s and Greggory’s.
Sarah’s eyes go wide.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Oh! Oh! Speaking of Savell!
She leans into the camera and makes a kissing face.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Hey, boo.
She goes forward to kiss the lens but a voice in the background stops her cold.
Kenzi Grey: Sarah, are you pretending to kiss Julian again?
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Uhhhhhh….no?
A deep and tired sigh is heard.
Kenzi Grey: Its bad enough at home. This is just embarrassing.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Hey! Shit up, you!
Kenzi Grey: STOP SAYING THAT!
Sarah Selena Lacklan: IT’S A THING!
Kenzi Grey: NO ITS NOT!
Sarah gives the camera one of her exaggerated eye rolls (patent pending!).
Sarah Selena Lacklan: ANYWAY...the Wonder Twits, as I told them when we first met and I gave them that AMAZING cheer, are SOOOOooooooooOOOOOO FUCKED! Can’t wait to rip off their faces!
Melissa Reeves walks up behind Sarah, her head down, as she adjusts a part of her gear.
Melissa Reeves: You ready, Sar? We are…
She trails off as she sees what Sarah is doing. The Reaver closes her eyes, letting out a long breath, and brings up a hand to rub at her eyes. Sarah takes the cue to cut it short.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Welp, time to go! This is….oh, I DO so hope that Cassandra is listening to this...this is President Trump’s Favorite Fucking Awesome Wrestler signing off! Time to murder some twins! Light be with you and don’t mind the flames!
Tag-Team Match
Blood Reavers v The Wonder Twins
The match begins with Melissa and Tinsley inside the ring, after a few lock ups and a little back and forth, Melissa takes control of the match over the young Tinsley, however both of their attentions are pulled from the ring when Lacklan’s taunting clearly becomes too much for Sawyer, who ducks the ropes and charges across the ring, knocking Lacklan from the apron.
Lackland and Sawyer begin to trade blows, Sawyer eventually grabbing a handful of that blonde hair, slams her face first into the barrier, the two women in the ring seem almost frozen in shock and confusion as Reed bounces her head off he barrier a few more time.
Tinsley and Mel roll out of the ring when Sawyer tosses Lacklan up the ramp by a handful of hair once more, Tinsley steps in front of her twin, trying to calm him down as Mel checks on Sarah, who looks disshevelled and angry, jumping to her feet she runs into the back of Tinsley, ramming her into Sawyer.
Tinsley barrels past him and hits the floor hard, this only enrages Sawyer more who spears Lacklan onto the ramp, bouncing the back of her head off of it, it’s only then, that the teams become aware of the official making a ten count in the ring.
Melissa and Tinsley both run back towards the ring, but it’s too little too late as the official reaches a ten count.
Winner: NO CONTEST.
SEGMENT
Sawyer Reed storms into the locker rooms and throws his elbow pads across the room and kicks over a metal chair.
Sawyer Reed: Fuck! We had them and I screwed it up!
Tinsley follows him into the room with a sigh and shakes her head, pushing the door closed behind them.
Tinsley Reed: SAWYER! Don’t cuss like that!
She shakes her head with a sigh and move to pick up his elbow pads.
Tinsley Reed: What was that out there? We agreed we were going into this with honor, dignity and respect, but you just destroyed her out there, that’s not what we’re about!
He looks to her and shakes his head.
Sawyer Reed: Sorry… Okay Tins, I'm sorry.
He collapses on the bench in the locker room and he rubs his eyes.
Sawyer Reed: I have… I have a lot of anger Tins. From the pressure I put on myself and from… That shi…
He looks at Tinsley.
Sawyer Reed: Stuff… With Noel. My head wasn't in the right spot and I just lost it a bit… I'm sorry I let you down.
She drops down next to him, shaking her head she rests her head on her brother's shoulder and sighs.
Tinsley Reed: Saw, you can’t let things overcome you like this… You have to rise above it, you’re a better person than the guy that was out there tonight, I am always proud to be your sister and I am even prouder to share that ring with you…
Another sigh escapes her lips as she looks down sadly.
Tinsley Reed: But I didn’t recognise the person out there bouncing some girls face off a barrier tonight…
He sighs again as he lowers his head.
Sawyer Reed: I have a chip on my shoulder okay? I'm not some hot new tag team in SAP like Charlie and I'm not Gavin's hand picked trainee like you are. I'm busting my butt on my own and making it that way so.. Sometimes I can.. Overdo it.
He looks over at her.
Sawyer Reed: Maybe if we actually trained more together you could get some of my… Grrr face…
He chuckles at the term.
Sawyer Reed: And I could get more of your control?
She leans back against him and nods, wrapping her arm around his shoulders and squeezing him gently.
Tinsley Reed: Okay, from here on out… We will train more together, no Gavin, no Ciara, just you and me…
She jumps up with a grin and claps her hands together.
Tinsley Reed: NOW! Let's go and wipe away the ick of today with a HUUUUUGE Ice-Cream Sundae and send Jaxon sooo many snaps of it he’ll be too jealous to even talk to me for the WHOLE night… Deal?
She grins at him, obviously trying to lighten the mood some, hiding the concern for her brother from her face.
Sawyer Reed: What if you invite Jax? I wouldn't mind you guys meeting Ciara… She umm… We umm… I really really like her. And I want you guy to as well.
She makes puppy dog eyes at him and sways her head back and forth with a smirk.
Tinsley Reed: Awww, Sawyer has a giiiiirrrrlfriiiieeennnnd….
She giggles and reaches out for his hands to pull him up off the bench.
Tinsley Reed: OKAY! Lets go!
He smiles at her.
Sawyer Reed: Okay Tins, thanks for being you.. But we can't get any sprinkles… We earn those, sprinkles are for winners.
SEGMENT
In the backstage area, Kasey White looks to be ready to start a segment when Melissa Reeves walks into the camera shot and takes the microphone from her. She turns to the camera, turning it onto her and only her.
Melissa: I have something I need to say.
The intensity in her eyes is unmistakable, her furrowed brow betraying an anger.
Melissa: You know...normally I would never involve my personal life in my work life, but it seems that the choice on that matter is no longer my own.
Melissa’s frown deepens.
Melissa: A few weeks ago a dreadful event occurred. You all know the one, I won’t go into it in detail. Cass Baumer broke a news story over it. She tormented both people it involved until one showed signs she may self harm. It was an unprovoked attack from Cassandra against two people who just lost something precious. She came to me to try and get me to fix her mess. Problem is I was a stranger, with no means to contact said person - I had no way of helping, even if I had known what to do. I’m not a medical professional, I’m not trained to deal with a situation like that.
She shakes her head.
Melissa: But Cassandra ignored all of that and, rather than accept the truth, she decided to lash out. And you know what? She told me if this person had committed suicide, it would have been my fault. Oh yeah, let that sink in, folks.
A flabbergasted look overtakes Melissa’s face.
Melissa: My fault. Why? Because I couldn’t help? Neither could anyone else. Why was it somehow my responsibility above anyone else’s - for a stranger?!
She shakes her head once again.
Melissa: So fast forward to me receiving a very distraught Aiden Morrow at my doorstep. I took him in, as anyone with a heart would. We talked, we cuddled, I helped him feel like someone - anyone - still gave a shit about him. And no, no, NO, we didn’t get together instantly. What people like Cassandra like to ignore is that he’s one of my closest friends on the damn planet and has been for a long while now.
Melissa takes a few moments to pause before continuing.
Melissa: He was there for me when Chris left me. He has been there when I have been sad and needed support, there to cheer me on in my matches or give me advice in life. He has always been there for me. Always. And all I did? Return that.
She waves a finger at the camera.
Melissa: But no, see, the likes of Cass Baumer would have you believe that Aiden and I did something wrong. We didn’t. We got together later that you believe, Cass. You pressured him with your public nonsense, put him in a position where he said we were together before we were - not to save face, not to hurt his ex, but because he was worried that denying it would make me think he was rejecting it.
A quick shake of her head shows her thoughts on that idea.
Melissa: We got together later on, and with this information watch as the entire foundation of your argument just crumbles away. But now we are together, and with that I know I have his strength at my side, just as he has mine.
A smile grows across her face.
Melissa: So we’ve established that I care about Aiden, and the timeline of our relationship. But that still brings me back to the original issue I had with you, Cass - and I know you’ll hear these words. Did you really think I’d stand by and let you use your news stories to press a boot down across Aiden’s neck in a moment when he was vulnerable? Did you think I’d simply let you hide behind them and torment him? Did you really think I’d do nothing when you used them to attack me too?
She shakes her head.
Melissa: No. You were right, he is precious to me. As are people like Kenzi Grey, Sarah Lacklan, Ally Morrow, Aubrey Williams, Cassie Ocampo - hell I really, really could go on with this one. And unlike you, I’m a real friend. Unlike you, I am willing to sacrifice myself to protect those I care about. And that means a strike against Aiden is therefore a strike against me, and a strike against me is a huge mistake. You betrayed me near instantly, but without thought of the consequence. You lied about your reasoning for why you cast me aside - I didn’t stop talking, you did. Our last text is from ME.
Melissa scoffs.
Melissa: But that’s fine, I see the real Cass Baumer now and, if anything, you are the one left vulnerable here. You may have the awful situation that occurred to hold over Aiden, but you have nothing on me. Yeah, yeah, I know...you have that one thing you like to hang over my head. Guess what? Aiden knows. So go on, tell the whole damn world if you must. Hell, you know what? I’ll do it for you right now. Cass and I hooked up one time. That’s the thing she likes to hang over my head, a threat to expose me because I prefer to keep such things out of the public's view. Well guess what, Cass? Your leverage just disappeared.
She smirks and shrugs.
Melissa: And I could go on and tell them all a lot more detail, truly expose your vulnerabilities to the light of day - but, see, unlike you I actually do try to keep some things private. Exactly like I kept all the rest of things you told me to myself, Cassandra - things that could really, truly wound you. Just as I told you yesterday when you text me with the most pathetic attempt at an apology I ever saw, I would rather not have to strike you back, but if I do it will be damaging. It will hurt you. It will do far more damage than you telling people I hooked up with you, or insinuating things between Aiden and I were any different than what I stated could ever possibly do to me. Losing you as a friend sucked, it hurt, but that hurt will be nothing compared to my revealing what I know about you.
She shakes her head softly.
Melissa: Hell, the mere mention of his name sent you scurrying away. Just imagine what I could do to you, Cass. So let me repeat the warning I gave you in private, Cass; if you continue to hurt the ones I love, I will destroy you - and not because I abandoned my morality as some would say, but precisely because my morality commands I should do all that I must to protect those I care about.
Melissa frowns for several moments, her face close to the camera.
Melissa: And further-
Behind her, Cass herself appears down the corridor, by her boyfriend Jay Gallagher following close behind and trying to grab at her hand. Realising the sudden turn of everyone’s attention in that direction, Melissa turns back and Cass freezes, eyes wide and squarely fixed on Melissa. Cass takes two steps forward, against Jay’s wishes, and says something that’s unheard by the audience, her body language almost apologetic. This only seems to provoke Melissa, who drops the microphone and points at Cass, yelling obscenities as she walks toward her. For her part, Cass seems unsure of what else to do and Jay steps in front of her to keep her in place, finally taking hold of her.
Before the situation escalates further, Aiden Morrow runs into view and hastily wraps his arms around Melissa’s shoulders, pulling her back in the opposite direction of Cass. Melissa resists and breaks free of his grip a couple of times, forcing a couple of FAW staff members into helping Aiden to pull her away, whilst several more surround Cass. A hand then covers the camera, ending the scene.
Grudge Match
Kenzi Grey v Lyric Night
The match started off with Kenzi coming to the ring first, practically salivating over the chance to get her hands on Lyric. Kenzi worked the fans into a frenzy as she took the microphone from the ring announcer and paraded around the ring telling the fans “Lyric will fight me, or I’ll strip her butt ass naked in the middle of the ring!” The rowdy fans roared while the more conservative ones booed her for being a puppet of the Anderson regime.
Lyric came out next and she looked anything but ready to fight. Kenzi continued to taunt her as she got into the ring. As the bell rang, Kenzi offered Lyric the first shot, but the girl refused as she asserted her non-violence stance. Kenzi informed her that she would fight or she would be stripped naked in the middle of the ring. While this gave Lyric pause, she remained stoic, refusing to violate her beliefs. When it became clear that Lyric wasn’t going to fight, the crowd began to boo.
Kenzi pushed the issue as she grabbed Lyric’s shirt and ripped it as she tried to take it off of her. This brought the crowd to their feet as Lyric ran, clutching her torn shirt as Kenzi gave chase. Lyric darted outside the ring with Kenzi close behind her as she ran for the exit, but Kenzi caught her and drug her back to the ring, tossing her inside. As Lyric begged off, Kenzi stood over her and listened to her pleas to hear reason. Eventually, Kenzi backed off, apparently seeing the light. As Lyric got to her feet, Kenzi kicked her in the midsection and planted her with a very familiar looking Gutwrench Powerbomb. Instead of going for the pin, Kenzi made ready to follow through on stripping Lyric in the ring.
This was cut short as Gabriel Laroux charged into the ring and blasted Kenzi from behind. The referee signaled for the bell, ending this match in a disqualification, but Gabriel wasn’t done. He sent the dazed star into the turnbuckle post, then pulled her out and planted her with his Gutwrench Powerbomb. Gabriel made ready to continue his assault to protect Lyric’s honor, but as Sarah Lacklan ran down the aisle, he collected Lyric and left The Red Queen to help Kenzi.
Winner: Kenzi Grey (via disqualification)
SEGMENT
Kenzi Grey is in the middle of a complete and utter meltdown after the way her match against Lyric Night ended. Staff give the enraged television and movie star a wide berth as she kicks over equipment boxes and upends tables.
Kenzi Grey: ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! REALLY?! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!
Kasey White attempts to get near enough to ask a few questions, but that effort is cut short as Zooey Anderson arrives and attempts to defuse the situation.
Zooey Anderson: Kenzi? KENZI!! CALM DOWN!!!
Kenzi drags her fingers through her braids in frustration, her body shaking in anger over the interference that prematurely ended her match.
Kenzi Grey: I want Gabriel…I WANT HIM IN A MATCH RIGHT NOW!!
Zooey shakes her head, as she holds up her hands.
Zooey Anderson: I know you want revenge Kenzi, but Gabriel is in the main event. I cannot do away with that match…I’m sorry!
Kenzi continues to pace back and forth, seething with anger. She pauses as she touches on an idea. She rushes up to Zooey, her eyes bright with excitement.
Kenzi Grey: Give me a hardcore match with Lyric!
Zooey cocked her head to the side as she looked the diminutive star up and down. She seemed to be less that convinced.
Zooey Anderson: You think that you can be hardcore?
Kenzi posted her hands on her hips, a devious grin on her face.
Kenzi Grey: I’ve been hardcore before…you give me Lyric again and I’ll show you just how hardcore I can be!
Zooey rubbed her chin as she considered Kenzi’s offer. Finally she put her hand on Kenzi’s shoulder as she looked her in the eyes.
Zooey Anderson: Okay…I believe you Ms. Grey. I’ll give you a match…just not that one.
She smiles at Kenzi as she motions for her to follow.
Zooey Anderson: Take a walk with me…I think you’ll like this!
Kenzi follows the General Manager, unsure of what she has in store.
SEGMENT
Kasey White is backstage she has a microphone in hand. She knocks on a door and waits until the door opens. Nothing happens so she knocks again. This time the door slowly opens and the first thing we see is the FAW Showcase title. Next comes out Cecily Bell. She has a black leather jacket on with studs all around it. She has her wrestling boots on that go up to her knees and shorts that cover the rest. She looks at Kasey and smirks a bit.
Cecily Bell: What can I do for you?
The words were surrounded by the sound of nervousness. Cecily was ready for the match but yet there was a sense of trepidation.
Kasey White: I wanted to ask you a few questions about your match coming up against Gabriel Laroux for your FAW Showcase Title.
Without a word Cecily nodded her head. She took a look at the title and right back at Kasey and smiled.
Kasey White: First, how do you feel about the match?
Cecily Bell: I guess that is a good question Kasey. You see this match is important to me not just because my title is on the line but I need to prove people wrong. I need to be the strong person I know I am, the champion that I know I am. As everyone knows I’ve just recently came back and I have done damn well and I cannot allow one slip up right now because then there would be a shadow of doubt over me.
She looked away not wanting to make eye contact. Kasey, kept pushing as she looked at her turning away.
Kasey White: Gabriel seems very confident going into this match can you say the same?
Cecily quickly turned and looked at Kasey. Her look now changed to a look of determination.
Cecily Bell: Really?
Kasey White: It is a simple question.
Cecily Bell: Why shouldn’t he be confident? Honestly, the way that I see it Kasey is that if you aren’t confident going into a match you are going to lose. You need to go out there saying that you are going to win, saying that no one can stop you. Gabe, is a tag champion so he knows what a title feels like, he knows what he needs to do to win it. Problem is that he is facing me and I will not be an easy step. I’m not going to lose this.
Kasey nodded her head and held her hand up.
Kasey White: Last time we saw you, you had just won the Showcase title and after that a clown came and took you out. Hurting your shoulder. How is your shoulder, and who do you think the clown was?
Cecily instinctively rubs her shoulder. It was still a bit sore but she didn’t want that out. She took a deep breath and smiled.
Cecily Bell: My shoulder is fine and I know I’d be stupid if I didn’t think that Gabe in this hardcore match wouldn’t target it. But I cannot allow that to stop me I have to rise above it and I will. As for the clown I don’t care who it is, they made a mistake when they attacked me and I’d hope that they had the brains not to do it again. Anyways, I have a match to worry about and Kasey afterwards I’d hope you’d interview me again, because after all I will still be champion.
She smiles as she looks at the title then back at Kasey as she walks off.

The cameras cut to the backstage area where Lyric Night sits on a production box, an ice pack held to her shoulder and wearing Gabriel Laroux’s shirt half buttoned over her half torn one, she looks up to him with a small smile, letting out a sigh.
Standing in front of Lyric, Gabriel’s hands rested upon that box she sat upon, on either side of her. A slight smile growing across his features as he couldn't help but to admire the look of her in his shirt.
Gabriel Laroux: “It’s a good look on you at least.”
There was a very subtle hint of teasing in the words he spoke, laughing a bit to follow. She looks down at the shirt and runs her hands over it with a smile, nodding slightly and shifting the ice pack,
Lyric Night: I could get used to it… And thanks, for saving me, I seriously didn't expect her to literally rip my clothes, the girl is insane…
She scrunches her nose up with a look of disgust, shaking her head a little as she does. Gabriel developed a reassuring smile before moving his hands off of that box, letting them rest against her sides.
Gabriel Laroux: “I promised you I always would be there to catch you, didn't I? It could have been a lot worse. But it's over now, I don't think she's going to just let it go anytime soon.”
He took a step forward, standing between her legs only to look down at her, a slow nod of his head. She slides the ice pack off her shoulder drops it down on the box, sliding both her hands to his waist she pulls up to kiss him softly before nodding.
Lyric Night: I never doubted for a second that you'd be there… And now we can focus on what actually matters tonight, that Showcase Championship sitting right where it belongs.
She runs her hand across his middle to illustrate her words, another smile pulling at her lips as she looks up at him meeting his gaze with her own.
Lyric Night: What you did tonight was remind me exactly why I fell for you in the first place, regardless of what anyone else might think, or believe… I see you for exactly who you really are.
Gabriel's smile softened as her words echoed within his head. A single hand moved up from her side, he cupped the side of her face, looking down at her.
Gabriel Laroux: “That's all I need. I don't care what anyone else thinks of me..or what they see when they see me. But you..what you think, what you see is what's important to me.”
His expression tightened up, a noticeable seriousness breaking out across his features.
Gabriel Laroux: “And as for that Showcase Championship, she doesn't know what she's gotten herself into. This isn't a fight she can win.”
She leans up closer to him, her lips close to his as she stares into his eyes for a moment, biting her bottom lip.
Lyric Night: Well, what I think… What I know…
She lets the pause hang in the air for a moment, the bite of her lip turning into a soft, warm smile that lights her eyes as she looks up at him.
Lyric Night: Is that I lo-
Before she can finish the sentence her attention is drawn over his shoulder, as Zooey Anderson steps up behind him, her smile quickly turning to a frown as she sighs and nods her head to Gabriel for him to look behind him, Zooey smirks and tilts her head.
Zooey Anderson: Oh no, please.. don't let me interrupt this little moment, carry on…
She waves her hands at them both, which only causes Lyric’s frown to knit her eyebrows together as it deepens on her face. Gabriel's eyes closed, annoyance as clear as glass showed as he begrudgingly pulled his attention away from Lyric, looking towards Zooey.
Gabriel Laroux: “Is something the matter, Mrs. Anderson?”
He was careful with his words, knowing full well what would happen if he wasn't.
Gabriel Laroux: “Is this about stopping Kenzi from..stripping Lyric?”
Zooey smirks slightly and rolls her eyes, nodding at Lyric before looking pointedly at Gabriel she purses her lips.
Zooey Anderson: You intervened in a scheduled match and once again, caused a disqualification result… Need I remind you how I feel about this kind of behavior on my show? Your match tonight was a reward for not acting like your brother and yet…
She shrugs and sighs as though she's entirely disappointed in his actions.
Zooey Anderson: You have forced my hand, Mr. Laroux, there will be repercussions tonight for your actions during the match, I'd like you to remember that what happens is entirely on you…
She steps forward slightly and looks up at him with a sarcastic smile.
Zooey Anderson: Oh and.. don't worry about Kenzi, I've arranged a little something that's sure to soothe her, at least for the moment…
His head tilting to the side, he just couldn't resist the urge to push back. Turning his body the rest of the way, now facing Zooey, Gabriel looked to her inquisitively.
Gabriel Laroux: “I'm not arguing your point, but I'm curious. Would Josh let you be publicly humiliated, stripped for the world to see?
Zooey laughs slightly and takes another step closer to him, looking him up and down, she casts her eyes to Lyric and then back to him.
Zooey Anderson: Josh has never once intervened on my behalf, nor is he pertinent to this conversation… he is however a board member with a sizable investment in this company, so if you value your career, I'd back down… Now.
Her gaze is stern and serious, not a note of a smile on her lips as she stares him down. His expression stiff, almost shifting into a scowl before closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath.
Gabriel Laroux: “...I..”
Those eyes opening back up, he sighed out softly before turning back to face Lyric. Leaning into her, he pressed his lips against hers briefly before pulling back.
Gabriel Laroux: “..have to go get ready.”
Without another word, Gabriel turned away, walking back off down that hallway. A loud crash, the sound of fist against something large resonated shortly after. Zooey smirks at Lyric before turning an walking off in the opposite direction.

Just as Lyric picks up the ice pack to follow after Gabriel, her cousin Jade Night steps up beside her, a concerned look etched across her face Lyric offers her a small smile. Jade reaches out and takes the ice pack from her, turning it over in her hands.
Jade Night: Hey Birdie, how you feeling?
Lyric Night: Sore, but okay, I guess… I just need to go check on…
Jade lets out an irritated sigh that brings Lyric’s words to a hault, she looks up at her cousin and makes that same scrunched up nose face.
Lyric Night: What?
Jade Night: I asked how you’re doing, not your boyfriend, you understand you’re separate entities right?
Lyric Night: Yeah, J, got it…
Lyric sighs and takes the ice pack back, resting it against her shoulder she looks a little more concerned now as she looks Jade up and down.
Lyric Night: How are you feeling about tonight?
Jade Night: Peachy…
Lyric Night: J….
Jade Night: Look, I came to check on you… Clearly you didn’t need me tonight, but just remember, when you do, i’ll be here, always.
Their expressions both soften and Lyric reaches in to hus her cousin, wrapping her arms around her middle with a smile she lets out a happy sigh.
Lyric Night: Thanks J….
Jade Night: Yeah, yeah, now let go before someone sees and thinks I’ve gone soft.
Tag-Team Match
Cass Baumer & Adam Sanders v Pride of Southie
This back and forth battle highlights great teamwork on both sides with Cass and Adam taking more of a technical approach while the brothers Callaghan take a more brutal approach. Seamless teamwork allows the Pride to isolate Adam in the ring as Cass stands on the apron cheering on her partner. From the crowd Cass is pelted by popcorn and heckled relentlessly by none other than Proving Grounds’ Kaylee Cross. Finally, having taken enough abuse, Cass hops down from the apron to confront Kaylee who’s standing in the front row. The two jaw back and forth and Kaylee dumps popcorn all over Cass just as Adam finds daylight and is standing in his corner looking for a tag. But Cass is too busy with Kaylee and the Pride of Southie point and laugh before sneaking up on Adam and hitting Tom Brady Is GOAT for the three count! Cass dives back in the ring to try and break the count but it’s too little too late as the brothers celebrate.
WINNER: Pride of Southie

As Cass collects her Hardcore Title after the hard fought tag team match, she leans against the barricade to catch her breath before heading to the back. Before she can, the General Manager walks through the entranceway, microphone in hand.
Zooey Anderson: That was one hell of a performance out there tonight, Cass. Real gritty! The fans loved it.
On cue, the fans roar their appreciation, and Cass drinks it in, despite how depleted she is from her match. Zooey claps but it's sarcastic at best.
Zooey Anderson: What no one appreciated was the way you won your match on the last episode of Delirium. I mean, using your friendship with Lyric Night to blatantly take advantage in a match against another friend of yours? Haven’t you lost enough friends as it is?
Cass waves off the General Manager’s comments as she starts to head to the back, but Zooey stops her.
Zooey Anderson: Whoa! Not so fast! Here in Fucking Awesome Wrestling, we are all about giving the people what they want... and justice. So tonight, the people don’t want your night to be over. They want to see you - 'The Headliner' - in action defending that FAW Hardcore Championship!
Cass’ mouth dropped open. Shaking her head 'no,' she cluches the belt tighter.
Zooey Anderson: Oh yes, it's happening… and it's happening right now! And as for the justice, well… You might want to blame your friend Lyric for this…
“Gimme Your Applause” by Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, & Christina Aguilera begins to play as lightbulbs flash all through the arena. Kenzi Grey walks out with a confident smirk as Zooey claps and disappears into the back. Kenzi heads down to the ring as Cass gets into the ring, still shocked that she’s being forced to defend her title after a grueling match.
Hardcore Title Match
Cass Baumer © v Kenzi Grey
This match between co-workers and friends starts slowly as the two stand in the middle of the ring talking to one another. The conversation turns into a yelling contest and quickly escalates when Kenzi slaps Cass across the face. Tired or not, the FAW Hardcore Champion goes right to work with her fists as the fans cheer. As Kenzi covers up, Cass hammers her to the mat, then backs off…attempting to collect herself and not hurt her friend. Again, Cass tries to explain things, but this proves to be a mistake as Kenzi has no such qualms about going after Cass and meets her with a hard punch to the jaw. Unlike their first match, the two women tear into one another brutally, both unleashing their arsenal against one another until things spill out onto the floor.
Cass sends Kenzi into the barricade and fishes out a broom from under the ring and proceeds to ignore the business end as she beats Kenzi across her back to the delight of the rowdy fans. Cass doesn’t seem to enjoy beating Kenzi, but since Kenzi refuses to listen to reason, she has no choice. Shot after shot across the back, Kenzi finally begs Cass to stop. Reluctantly, Cass does just that, apologizing as she attempts to help Kenzi back up to her feet. Instead of returning the gratitude, Kenzi grabs a handful of the FAW Hardcore Champion's tights and sends her into the steel steps! Unlike the last match, Kenzi shows no concern for opponent's safety this time. Sending Cass into the ring, Kenzi swiftly follows her opponent.
Cass seems dazed for a moment as she gets to her knees and Kenzi Gray plants her with a “Blockbuster” headscissor DDT! Exhausted from fighting two matches in a row, Cass lies near motionless as the challenger makes the pin,
Just as the referee is ready to slap the mat for the third time, Cass Baumer reaches out to grab the bottom rope. She clutches it firmly just out of the referee's sight before the crowd erupts with the shouts of the number three.
Winner: Kenzi Gray

The scene opens up in a dark room with a spotlight shining down in the middle. A few seconds pass when the sound of a clock going ‘tick tock, tick tick’ can be heard. Seconds continue to pass with the tick tick continuing until the clock sound stops when Julian Savell shows up in the spotlight in the dark room. His hair is tied back in a top knot, he's wearing sunglasses, a black fur coat over his suit and tie, an umbrella in one hand and on his opposite shoulder is the FAW Championship.
Julian Savell: Tick tock, tick tock. That's the sound of the seconds passing until I make an example out of Jade Night. You see, what Riggs did to her? It will PALE in comparison with the hell i'm about to put her through. I'm going to rearrange her face and also make sure she can never walk again. My dear old friend, Chris Night, is going to have to feed his older sister through a fucking straw when I'm through with her.
Julian lets out a cackle as he leans back, laughing for quite sometime. He eventually straightens up and glares into the camera.
Julian Savell: Jade needed almost four years to build up the courage to step back into the ring after she suffered irreversible mental and physical damage at the hands of Skylar Riggs… And now here she is, going up against a man far more brutal and scary compared to that man. Does this spell the end of Jade Night?
A devilish grin runs over Julian’s face.
Julian Savell: Not only will it be her end, but I'll also have my chance to finally end Chris Night as well. What? Do you think that referee shirt will protect him from me? Well then, you better think again. I respect no man and as for Chris? He's not even a man, he's more so of a bitch. And tonight? Tonight I'm going to make the Night family my bitches… And maybe after I finish off Chris and Jade, I could possibly turn my attention to Lyric for dessert.
He licks his lips.
Julian Savell: She does look so adorably innocent… And tasty.
Julian lets out another cackle as he disappears from view and the spotlight goes away when Julian stops laughing. The tick tock sound starts up once again before the feed shortly fades out.

The scene cuts to Jade Night’s locker room where she’s taping up her hands and wrists with white tape when a knock is heard at the door. Jade looks up with a furrowed brow, wondering who it could be.
Jade Night: Yeah, come in!
The door swings open and Chris Night, her brother and minority owner of FAW, walks through with a referee shirt already on and a smirk on his face. He then makes his way towards Jade.
Chris Night: What’s up, sis? Ready for your match?
Jade forces a smile and nods.
Jade Night: Almost. I'm being a bit distracted right now.
Her gaze narrows on Chris as he chuckles and shrugs innocently.
Chris Night: Hey now, I'm just making sure you're feeling alright. I know it's been four years and I'm seriously worried about you.
Jade scoffs and shakes her head.
Jade Night: Stop it. I'm not some innocent little girl. I don't need protecting and I don't need you or anyone else feeling sorry for me and what happened to me four years ago. I've had enough of you feeling sorry for it enough over that time. I'm back because I'm ready to be back… Which means I'm ready for this match… Even with their being no rules.
Jade pauses and steps forward towards Chris, keeping her eyes on his.
Jade Night: I love you… But I won't hesitate to drop you on your head if you get in my way out there. Just do your job, yeah?
Chris smiles and nods while holding his hands up innocently.
Chris Night: Hey, I'm just there to make sure things go smoothly. I believe in you and I won't get in your way. I'll see you out there.
Chris turns and walk out of the locker room.
Jade Night: Damn right you will… And I'm going to do what you could never do… I'm going to beat Julian Savell.

Jade Night v Julian Savell
Before the match could even start, Julian attacked Jade from behind during her entrance, nailing her in the back of the head with his championship belt. This is exactly what Skylar Riggs did to Jade four years ago in Inferno Wrestling and Julian is giving her the same treatment. Julian hops on top of Jade and begins throwing elbow shots into her face but before Julian can do anything more, Chris Night, the special referee, superkicks Julian in the face, knocking him out. This made Joey Reyes, Julian’s new significant other, hop over the barricade from the front row. Chris turns and Joey kicks him in the nuts, causing Chris to drop to his knees. Joey blows Chris a kiss before lining him up and nailing a devastating buzzsaw kick to his temple, which she calls The Long Kiss Goodnight.
Chris is out of it and as all three people lie there, Joey shrugs and goes back to her seat in the crowd. Jade and Julian recover at the same time and begin to have a back and forth battle on their way back to the ring. The match goes back and forth until Julian knocks Jade out with a superkick. Julian rolled out of the ring and grabbed a chair from under it before rolling back in. He sit the chair up under Jade’s face and waits for her to get up. As she stirred, Julian charged and went for a curb stomp but Jade grabs the chair from under her face and rolls out of the way in time.
Julian turned and is met by a chair shot over his head from Jade. Julian drops to the mat and Jade retreats to the corner, waiting for Julian to get up. As he got up to his feet in a daze, Jade charged him and nailed a running single leg high knee, which she calls Jaded. Jade goes for the cover and Chris is still knocked out but a new referee runs down the ramp. The referee begins the count and Jade picks up the three count, getting a win in her debut match over the F’n Awesome Champion.

Cass Baumer is walking down the hallway with disappointment etched across her face, having failed to be there to save her partner during her earlier tag match and then losing her Championship in the resulting surprise defense. From out of nowhere Kaylee Cross blindsides her with a high knee to the back of the head that sends Cass stumbling forward where she crashes into the wall and tumbles to the floor. Kaylee laughs as she hovers over Cass while holding a piece of cake in her hands.
Kaylee Cross: Heard it was your boyfriend’s birthday, didn’t want you to miss the opportunity to eat cake!
Kaylee winds up, about to smash the cake into Cass’s face when a blur of motion tackles her into the wall, sending both the cake and Kaylee flying. With his chest heaving Proving Grounds Champion Aiden Morrow stares down at Kaylee with his fists clenched.
Aiden Morrow: She’s mine! Do you understand me?! MINE!!
Kaylee’s eyes flash with anger as she struggles to her feet and throws a wild punch which Aiden easily sidesteps. Sliding in behind Kaylee he grabs both her arms and plants her HARD against the pavement with a Tiger Suplex. As she lies there unconscious Aiden seethes, trying to catch his breath. His eyes turning to Cass who is witnessing all this wide-eyed.
Aiden Morrow: You’re next.
Just as Aiden’s about to step towards Cass he’s shoved aside by Jay Gallagher who comes rushing into the scene, grabs Cass by her arm and spirits her away, running down the hallway without looking back.

The scene cuts to the back where Kasey White is standing by with the latest FAW signee, Alexander Parker. He is dressed in jeans, a dress shirt and a big smile on his face.
Kasey White: I'm here with the newest addition to the roster, Alexander Parker.
Alexander Parker: Thanks for having me Kasey.
Kasey White: Alexander, what is it you want the FAW fan base to know about you with this being your first time on FAW television?
Alexander Parker: I'm here to give my all and put in the hard work. I'm here to bust my ass and win. But most of all, I'm here to maybe be a positive role model for people out there that need one.
Kasey White: Those seem to be some big goals.
Alexander Parker: They are but so was getting a contract with FAW when I didn't have a foot in the door like most of the talent here. So the way I see it, I have already achieved one goal and now I need to set another. That starts on the next FAW show where I am going to my first win in this company. Because Kasey, there's nothing I can do when motivated.
He smiles at Kasey White and shakes her hand before walk off.

Bryan Sweet v Dirk Bentley
This throwback match starts off as a classic back and forth battle with each man hitting their trademark spots. The crowd is firmly behind Sweet but are showing Bentley the old-school respect he’s earned throughout his career. The match ends when Bentley hoists Bryan up and drops him to the mat with the Eight Second Ride, a stalling vertical suplex. Dirk hovers over Bryan, yelling for him to get to his feet as he sets for the Southern Comfort superkick. Bryan staggers to his feet and turns to face Dirk but he ducks the superkick and when Bentley spins around Bryan drops him with the Sweet Shot, a superkick of his own. Bryan hooks the leg and the fans count along for the three count!
SEGMENT:
As the match concludes a disgusted Summer O’Reilly turns and walks from ringside as Dirk rushes to catch up with her. Back in the ring Bryan gets on the mic.
Bryan Sweet: First and foremost, I want to thank Dirk Bentley for a hell of a match.
The crowd pops.
Bryan Sweet: No bullshit. I’ve faced a lot of opponents throughout my career and while Dirk may not be the sharpest tool outside of the ring, he always brings it when the bell rings. So thank you, Dirk.
A, “thank you Dirk” chant breaks out.
Bryan Sweet: Now on to future in-ring business… GAVIN GRIMES!
A HUGE pop rips through the building.
Bryan Sweet: My victory here today insures what some are calling a dream match. A clash between the present and the past.
Bryan chuckles.
Bryan Sweet: Make no mistake while I’ve earned my reputation over the years, I’m very much in the here and now. So don’t expect me to behave like a proper legend and put on a good show for the fans before eating the pin fall and walking up that ramp while waving to the fans. No, no, no… I’m coming to beat Grimes and prove that not only can I still hang with the talent of today, I can BEAT THEM ALL!!
Another pop.
Bryan Sweet: So buckle in and prepare yourselves for one hell of a match because you will not be disappointed. Thank you to Fucking Awesome and Zooey Anderson for making this match possible and make sure you bloodthirsty motherfuckers get your tickets or order the show because you are NOT going to want to miss it!
The crowd pops again as Bryan lowers the mic and goes to leave but he stops, suddenly remembering something.
Bryan Sweet: Oh yeah, remember to check out Tessa Pryce’s upcoming movie and please excuse the blue hair… you know showbusiness. AND NO OOGLING MY DAUGHTERS ASS ON TWITTER!!
The crowd erupts with laughter as Bryan throws the mic over his shoulder and exits the ring, high-fiving fans and posing for pictures along the way to the back.

The feed switches to what’s obviously a pre-recorded video. A man in a Misfits hoodie that looks like it’s seen better days sits astride a vintage Honda motorcycle, leaning forward with his arms braced over the handlebars. Nodding, he beckons the camera to move in closer, banishing some of the shadows from his bearded face. For fans of a now-defunct promotion based out of Vegas back last year, the identity of the man is unmistakable: ‘Fearless’ Lex Collins.
Lex Collins: It’s funny how sometimes you spend all this time runnin’ from a thing only to realize the best thing you can do is go back. Go back to the last place it all made sense.
He chuckles softly, shaking his head, that lazy drawl and soft cadence of his words putting the viewer at ease.
Lex Collins: Some of you know me - word gets round in this small, small town of ours, don’t it? An’ maybe you don’t. Maybe you’re gonna play the ‘who the hell’s this guy’ game the first time you see me show up… first time this airs or you see those ten letters’at’re ‘upposedta define me alongside yours on the next bookin’ sheet. Name's Lex Collins.
His smile seems almost self-deprecating now.
Lex Collins: So, hey.
He blinks, letting the silence spill out while he fiddles with the skull ring on his finger, looking decidedly uncomfortable. Sighing, he shakes his head.
Lex Collins: Not expectin’ a celebration. See, I know I’m… I know it’s been too damn long since I graced a ring like yours. But, y’know, sometimes it takes a while to wise up, to heal up but I guess the long an’ short of what I’m tryna say is simple enough: I signed a contract.
The smile’s still there, bordering on amused even though his eyes still seem sad.
Lex Collins: Maybe some of you ‘member me from social media or a couple places’at only exist in YouTube bootlegs an’ forgotten video archives. Do my best to follow those’ve you I haven’t already. Y’know, ‘cause I’m hella social like that.
The laughter seems a little bitter before another shrug lifts his shoulders.
Lex Collins: Alright. One last go round, once more with feelin’ an’ all that jazz. So, hey, F’N Awesome Wrestlin’ - I’m here. Right now, there's no place I'd rather be ‘cept maybe in that ring right now, tearin’ shit up ‘steada talkin’ like some windbag chump. All in due time, right? Promise I’ll be seein’ ya real soon.
He flashes a peace sign and that crooked smile again. Without another word, the feed cuts back to the live show.

Cecily Bell v Gabriel Laroux
As Cecily makes her way to the ring, she is assaulted from behind by Gabriel who brings her face down onto the stage with a facebuster, his immediate upper hand affords him the chance to slam his boot down into the back of her head. She is brought up to her feet by two large handfuls of hair, dragging her over to the edge of the stage, Gabriel launches her off, but on the swing, Cece gets her legs around him and takes him down with her, using an inverted body scissors.
The pair land on a production box that buckles under the weight, Cecily landing on top of Gabriel, she is the first up, staggering slightly as she finds her feet, she grabs the guardrail to steady herself, sidestepping a charge from Gabriel who runs his shoulder into the rail when she moves.
Dropping to his knees to grab his shoulder, Cecily comes up behind him, dropping an elbow to the back of his head, when she goes for a second strike; Gabriel is able to grab her arm and fling her over his shoulder into that same rail. Gabriel gets to his feet and once again grabs two handfuls of hair, dragging her down the side of the ramp towards the ring.
Cecily screams and scratches at his hands, blood forming under nails as she tears into the back of his hands, causing Gabriel to toss her forwards and into the side of the ring, she hits it with a thud and falls to her ass, Gabriel lines her up for a big boot but she rolls at the last second and brings her forearm up between his legs with a lowblow!
Gabriel drops back and to his knees with a sharp exhale, Cecily rolls up into the ring and starts stalking the ropes, calling for him to get in. When he gets up on the apron she tries to go at Gabriel but he hands her up on the ropes, laying her out flat. Gabriel gets into the ring and stomps down on Cecily’s face, buting open her nose with an explosion of blood, as Cecily grabs for her face Gabriel smirks and shakes his head.
Finishing it off with a Gutwrench Powerbomb, followed up with a heel hook before getting the three count.
WINNER: Gabriel Laroux
SEGMENT:
Gabriel rose up to his knees, the sound of the bell still ringing in his ears. Standing up the rest of the way, he was handed the FAW Showcase Championship, raising it high into the air, a victorious yell bellowing free. Bringing it back down, he gazed upon the polished front plate, a look of satisfaction showing across his face.
Shortly after, “YOUR Favorite Drug” Xavier Laroux jogged his way down the ramp before sliding into the ring and rolling up to a stand. The two stared at one another for a moment, silent. Xavier flashed that smirk before embracing his brother in celebration. Breaking that hug, Xavier raised the hand of Gabriel into the air.
Ducking out of the ring, Xavier made his way to the timekeeper area, grabbing up Gabriel’s half of the Tag Team Titles before taking it to Gabriel, handing it to him. Walking forward, towards those ropes only to lean into them, extending his arms outwards, holding out both titles.
The brothers celebration is cut short, as to a welcoming chorus of boos, Zooey Anderson walks out from behind the curtain, a microphone in her hand, she slowly makes her way to the ring, climbing the steps she takes pause, smiling at them both before she ducks under the top rope, circling to the middle of the ring, she tucks the mic under her arm and claps slowly.
Zooey Anderson: Congratulations Gabriel, you have done exactly what I knew you were capable of and now officially represent FAW as a singles Champion.
She turns to face him fully now, eying both championships in his hands she sighs, shaking her head slowly with a cluck of her tongue.
Zooey Anderson: Unfortunately, that glory may be rather short lived…
Gabriel's arms dropped to his sides, slowly shaking his head. Pushing off of those ropes, he walked over to be handed a microphone from a ring attendant. Walking back over, he handed off the Showcase Championship to Xavier, turning to face Zooey.
He was clearly bothered by both her words and her presence. Resisting several urges, Gabriel shook his head, looking to that woman.
Gabriel Laroux: “What is it?”
His words were short, irritated as he gripped the microphone tightly, his knuckles turning white. Zooey smiled, leaning her head to the side, she pointed to the Tag Title in his hands and the Showcase now being held by Xavier, then wags her finger at him.
Zooey Anderson: I was reviewing some bylaws back in my office and it appears, FAW has a no double Champion rule, meaning..,
She steps up closer to him and her smile widens as she's clearly enjoying this.
Zooey Anderson: You have to choose… Loyalty to your brother and the Tag Division… Or Singles Championship Success?
Gabriel's head fell back, a frustrated sigh slipping free. Taking back the Showcase Championship from Xavier after dropping that microphone, Gabriel looked down at those two titles, shaking his head slowly.
After a couple more moments, he extended that Showcase Championship to Xavier, speaking directly to him.
Gabriel Laroux: “Hold this for a second.”
Holding that Tag Team Title into the air, the crowd strongly urging him to choose that title, to choose the team over himself. Gabriel smiled, slowly nodding his head before he turned to lay that Tag Team Title at the feet of Xavier and pulling that Showcase Title from his grasps.
Xavier was at a loss for words as Gabriel walked right past him, ducking out of the ring and beginning to walk up the ramp. Turning away from Zooey, Xavier walked up to the ropes, holding his arms out in confusion as he watched Gabriel walk away.
Xavier Laroux: “GABE, WHAT THE HELL?!”
Zooey clears her throat into the mic to catch Xavier’s attention, tapping her foot against the mat as she waits impatiently, stooping down she picks the discarded title up from the mat and stares at the back of Xavier’s head waiting for him to turn around.
Turning around, he picked up that microphone before walking right up into the face of Zooey, anger in his eyes as he raised the microphone to his mouth.
Xavier Laroux: “Choose what you wanna say carefully.”
Zooey smiles and pushes the belt into his chest, taking a step back she shrugs slightly, looking around the ring with another shrug, a smile crosses her lips.
Zooey Anderson: According to the rule book, you have 72 hours to name a new partner, after that time, you will defend these championships… Alone.
She walks towards the ropes and takes a pause, a small smile once more as she looks back at him.
Zooey Anderson: And by the way… That partner selection? Has to be agreed upon by two board members… Good luck.
With that she slips between the ropes and jumps down off the apron, backing up towards the ramp.
Realization set in as disappointment just washed over him. His shoulders dropping, he didn't even bother to catch the title that was shoved into his chest. Seeming as if he was going to say something, he just shook his head, kneeling down to pick up the championship, unable to notice the nameplate. His expressions tightening, his face shifting into a scowl as he turned to watch Zooey walk up the ramp.
Xavier Laroux: “Lemme save you the trouble, I don't need a partner. I don't need anybody fightin by my side. Never have, NEVER WILL!”
Laroux held that title high into the air, his chest rising and falling rapidly. As the scene fades out to the FAW logo on screen.
