Kelly Humphries: And the heat going into our Main Event is an absolute Inferno! Who knows what’s going to happen when Zooey and Xavier meet in the ring…
Aaron Bass: If Laroux makes it to the ring at all...
SEGMENT:
In the Medic Office backstage, Lyric Night sits beside a small desk with a stack of personnel files beside her, not really paying attention to them, she’s sharing a laugh with Alaina Laroux who sits on the examination table, dangling her legs over the edge as the pair chat back and forth, when the door swings open and Lyric turns her attention to it with mild apprehension on her face.
Jade Night steps into the room and rolls her eyes, locking them on her younger cousin she clears her throat, hovering half inside and half outside the office. Lyric raises her eyebrows at her, not saying anything, forcing Jade to speak first.
Jade Night: We need to talk…
Lyric Night: Okay, talk?
Jade looks over at Alaina and then back at Lyric, for a moment Alaina looks as though she might get up to leave but Lyric shakes her head at her, turning back to Jade with a shrug.
Lyric Night: There’s literally nothing you need to say that can’t be said here.
The tension in the room is palpable, Jade just stares her cousin down for a long moment, before letting out a growl.
Jade Night: FINE! You know what Emily? I meant what I said, when you get hurt acting a fucking idiot… I told you so!
With that, Jade turns and slams the door beside her, Lyric sighs and shakes her head before giving Alaina an apologetic look.
Alaina Laroux: Emily?
Lyric Night: Don’t ask…
Lyric rolls her eyes with a laugh as the sound of Jade stomping off down the hall can be heard.
SEGMENT:
Cecily Bell is in the back and she has her wrestling gear on and her hair is somewhat of a mess. It would be more of a mess soon but in all reality she didn’t really care. She smiled as the camera got closer to her. She cracked her knuckles and smirked.
Cecily Bell: It has been so simple the past few weeks here in FAW for me. You see I won a #1 contenders match for the Showcase title, and then I went on to a tag team match and I won that. Now I am about to step into that ring against Ellie Stokes for the Showcase title.
She slowly got up and walked around the room.
Cecily Bell: Nothing is going to change from the past few weeks to this week. Hell, Ellie hasn’t even really been around she got caught up with ole Lukey boy there and now she hasn’t been anywhere. Hell she had a great match against Noah but lost that and then walked away. It is kind of funny whatever Lukey touches they kind of vanish, hell I would know he has touched me before.
She winks and walks towards the locker room door.
Cecily Bell: Not that you would know that Ellie but Ellie you know something you have kind of made me mad. Walking away from a shot not talking and well I guess it is something that hurts me because I wanted you to give it your all in this match because I wanted to win the title with a challenge not just a walk through, but I really do hope you come out and fight me because it is just going to be so much fun beating you and raising a title high above my head again…
She smirks again as she opens the door and walks out.
Singles Match
Ashleigh Jericho v Sarah Serena Lacklan
The match starts off with a solid back and forth that has Sarah taking control and showboating to the crowd as she puts Ashleigh through her paces. Sarah hits a Shining Wizard and then taunts a woozy Ashleigh as she struggles to her feet. Winding up Sarah unleashes The Cop Killa but discovers Ashleigh wasn’t as out of it as she appeared. Ashleigh ducks the sick right hook and plants Sarah with a headlock driver, also known as The Crowning. Ashleigh follows up by hoisting Sarah high and driving her to the mat with a Reverse Brainbuster, a finisher made famous by Sarah’s father. After a hook of the leg the three count is elementary and Ashleigh celebrates her victory while Sarah is left to clear the cobwebs before her match with later tonight against Julian Savell.
Winner: ASHLEIGH JERICHO
SEGMENT:
The scene cuts backstage to Jade Night standing in front of Zooey Anderson’s office. She knocks on the door and a voice can be heard saying, ‘come in!’ Jade opens the door and walks in to find Zooey standing behind by her desk with a furrowed brow.
Zooey Anderson: How can I help you, Jade?
Jade offers a smile before responding.
Jade Night: I’m not here to waste your time, I know it’s valuable. I also know that hiring me was a risk for you considering that I’m Robb Hardy’s ex-wife and I, well, haven’t had the best interactions with Ana. So thank you for giving me a chance to prove my worth, I won’t let you down.
A smile crosses Jade’s face as Zooey steps towards her.
Zooey Anderson: Oi, I wouldn’t of hired ya if ya weren’t talented. That last name you got? It carries a lot of weight in this sport and you’re now one the oldest veterans we got on the FAW roster. We need that here.
Jade nods in agreement.
Jade Night: I do have a wealth of experience and I’m definitely more than just Chris Night’s big sister. Funny how things work, he used to be Jade’s little brother, but it is what it is. I have to prove myself again even though I’ve been doing this since 2004… I won’t let you or anyone else down.
Zooey Anderson: Better not, aye?
Jade Night: Right. I’ll see you around, Zooey.
Jade waves at Zooey before walking out of the office and Zooey half rolls her eyes before grabbing some paperwork off of her desk and looking over it.
SEGMENT:
Kenzi Grey sat in the locker room, nervously wringing her hands as Sarah Lacklan stood behind her, hands rubbing her shoulders in a vain attempt to relieve the debuting star’s nerves. Sarah leaned in close as she spoke to her.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Beloved! You don’t have to be nervous, just go out there and put that feckless hack out of her misery! It’s your time to ride the flames!
Kenzi shook her head as she turned to meet Sarah’s red gaze. Her face was ashen with worry.
Kenzi Grey: Sar, you saw what happened to Stephanie during her match with Kate over in Honor. A bandmate vs. bandmate match and Stephanie got her head cracked open…it was just supposed to be a friendly match…just like this one!
Kenzi stood up, shaking her head.
Kenzi Grey: This match is a bad idea…I am not going to compete tonight. I will talk to Ms. Anderson and she’ll take care of it just like she took care of that stupid FAW Trainer that was harassing me over Twitter! She’ll understand that this booking just isn’t right for me…I…
Sarah grabbed Kenzi, giving her a firm shake.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: I won’t hear any more of this prattle! Trust me, Cass Baumer is a filthy peasant! That is why I sent her into the Abyss on F Society’s final show and that is why you’d do the same to her tonight! She’s been trying to use your friendship with her to get you to let your guard down. Don’t let her cheat you like she cheated her way into MY Hardcore Title!
Sarah kissed Kenzi on her lips, pulling her in close. Her eyes blazed as she pulled away.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Do it for me Beloved…best her inside the ring…prepare her for her eventual defeat at my hands…
Kenzi still seemed hesitant, but she finally nodded and returned the kiss with one of own.
Kenzi Grey: Only because you asked so nicely…okay?
Sarah grabbed her by her hand as she heard the first few chords of her entrance theme start to play. Sarah pulled her to the door, a broad grin on her face.
Sarah Selena Lacklan: Time to ride the flames!
Singles Match
Cass Baumer v Kenzi Grey
The match between Guilty Pleasure bandmates and friends, new signee Kenzi Grey and FAW Hardcore Champion Cass Baumer got off to a tentative start. Kenzi seemed hesitant to engage with Cass, but the riotous crowd soon had them locking up in the center of the ring. Cass took control early in the match, using her size to her advantage. Cass kept Kenzi on her heels with a variety of strikes that had the television star coving up. Cass hit a headlock neckbreaker and made a quick cover that earned her a short two count. Kenzi popped up out of the cover, only to be put back down by slingblade. Cass floated into another cover and got a long two count this time.
As Kenzi popped out of the pin attempt, she rolled outside the ring where Sarah Lacklan was waiting to read her the riot act over treating Cass with kid gloves. Kenzi charged back into the ring with a bit of fire lit under her this time. Cass looked to take control again, but Kenzi avoided a flying lariat and met the Hardcore Champion with a running clothesline of her own. Kenzi kept Cass on her heels with her own offense as she used her speed to counter Cass as she missed with strikes meant to hit with deadly intent. Cass seemed to stun Kenzi with a knee lift, but as she charged in to take advantage, Kenzi caught her with a codebreaker. Kenzi crawled into the cover and Cass managed to get her foot on the bottom rope to break the count.
Kenzi looked to take advantage quickly, bringing Cass up to her feet, she looked to hit a suplex, but Cass blocked it. Cass went for a hammerlock into a short lariat, but Kenzi rolled Cass into a schoolgirl pin. Cass kicked out a immediately, but found herself rolled up again in a quick pin attempt a second time. Cass escaped again and rolled out of the ring to break the momentum. Outside the ring, Cass and Sarah started to get into a shouting match and Kenzi slid outside to break it up, grabbing Cass from behind. Cass sent Kenzi into the barricade, then moved in to take control again, but Kenzi surprised her with a drop toe hold. The crowd gasped as Cass smacked into the steel steps and seemed rattled as she fell against the apron.
Sarah screamed for Kenzi to take advantage, but she froze as the scene seemed reminiscent of the match ending between their other band mates. Kenzi pushed Cass into the ring, but she seemed torn over going after Cass. Cass attempted to pull herself up using the ropes, but crumpled to the mat. Instead of going for the pin, Kenzi implored the referee to check on Cass. After getting her up into a sitting position the referee signaled for a medic and Lyric Night ran to the ring to check on Cass to see if she could continue. Outside the ring, Sarah was livid over Kenzi not going for the kill against her friend.
Suddenly Cass seizes the moment as she skirts past Lyric and quickly rolled Kenzi up, grabbing a generous handful of tights out of the sight of the surprised referee who counted to three. Cass quickly rolled out of the ring with a broad grin on her face as Sarah charged in after her. Sarah ran to the ropes screaming at Cass as she collected her title and point to her head, rubbing in the fact that she had outsmarted everyone.
Inside the ring, Kenzi turned her anger at Lyric, the screaming at the girl as she blamed her for the loss, claiming that she had cheated her. The referee was forced to hold Kenzi back as she attempted to physically get her hands on the FAW Trainer. Lyric beat a hasty retreat, all the while professing her innocence.
WINNER: CASS BAUMER
As Cass Baumer argues on the ramp with her friend, Lyric Night, a video pops up on the screen. Aiden Morrow is standing in front of a camera with a steel chair in hand and a serious look on his face.
Aiden Morrow: There’s only so much a wounded man can take before he finally lashes out. My pain? My suffering? It isn’t something to be made fun of. Cass Baumer, you made this personal, not me.
Aiden pauses as Cass and Lyric look at each other in confusion.
Aiden Morrow: The blood that was spilled just now back here while you were busy fighting? THIS BLOOD!
Aiden pulls out his hand that was hiding behind the chair and it shows blood on it.
Aiden Morrow: This blood is on your hands, Cass. And you and me? We’re far from over. Why, you ask? Because there’s a breaking point for every man out there and you? You broke mine. You did it by breaking the story about Sof’s miscarriage, about us breaking up, mocking the miscarriage and then telling Xavier about Sofie, whom he’s now making threats against. While Sofie and I aren’t and never will be together anymore… I still care about her… And I will do what I can to protect her… To protect my family. What about you Cass?
Aiden throws the chair down and smirks.
Aiden Morrow: Can you protect your family? The ones you care about? Because it seems to me… You’re having a pretty shit start at it.
Aiden shrugs and walks away and the camera pans down to see the steel chair that Aiden threw down lying next to the head of the unconscious Jay Gallagher, Cass Baumer’s boyfriend. Jay is lying in a puddle of blood from his head that has been busted open while inside the ring, Cass and Lyric start to panic. The two begin to run up the ramp to get to the backstage area to attend to Jay.
SEGMENT:
It cuts to the back where the former FAW Showcase Champion, Noah Nakamura is pacing back and forth in his locker room. He is already in his ring attire and an oversized black shirt with a orange dragon design on the front.
Noah Nakamura: I’ve had my fair share of battles here in FAW. From butting heads with Ana Valentine to the ladder match against Julian Savell. From the cage match with Chris Night to my battle of honor against Ellie Stokes. But tonight I am taking on The Most Awkward Man in Wrestling, Adam Sanders, a person relativity new to this sport but he looks like a good egg to me. The protege of Adrien Cochrane and a man who will do whatever he can to do the right thing. Maybe my most honorable opponent to date.
Nakamura nods his head for a moment.
Noah Nakamura: I’m going to give you all I have and more Adam, I cashed in the Showcase Championship Title for a shot at the FAW Championship and I need all the momentum that I can possibly have going into my match against Julian Savell for the FAW Championship. So, while I respect you and what you stand for Adam and that I could see us being friends, when that bell rings, I am going to go at you as hard as I can and not only give the fans something to talk about on the way home… But to get that victory for me.
Nakamura looks to the camera for a moment before walking off.
Triple Threat
Drew Stevenson v Liam Callaghan v Sean Callaghan
The Callaghans handled Stevenson with absolute ease, teaming up against him and making quick work of the ring vet, despite him having experience on his side, the brothers show what they are truly capable of as a team, obviously looking to send a message to Cause & Effect.
After some offensive and defensive back and forth, the brothers use their in ring chemistry and exceptional skill to take Stevenson down for the three count, Liam stepping back for his older brother to take the pin.
Winner: Sean Callaghan
SEGMENT:
In the backstage area, Kasey White is on standby alongside her guest, FAW’s latest acquisition.
Kasey: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m pleased to be joined here today by the newest FAW signing, Melissa Reeves.
Melissa is met with cheers as she appears on camera. She looks away, off camera - her eyes covered by thick shades.
Kasey: Melissa, thank you for joining me. Now, tonight is the first FAW show since you joined...what are your thoughts on the company so far?
Without moving her gaze, Melissa answers.
Melissa: My thoughts? My thoughts are that this is a new and exciting company, a chance for a fresh start. And trust me, I needed a fresh start. The last place, FSociety, did nothing but jerk me around and try to screw with me. So I suppose for me it comes down to a question of how fair will the management here be. See, I’m sick of how I was treated, but I came here with the hope that it will be different. And, trust me, I fully intend to make sure that it is different.
Kasey: So you will be looking to make an impact?
Melissa: Of course. Who doesn’t want to be noticed on their debut? Who doesn’t want to walk in and make an immediate statement? And it’s tough joining a new, established place. But trust me, I’ll make myself get noticed.
Kasey: Well, speaking of, you have a match with Tristen Blake later this evening. What do you know about him?
Melissa: Very little. End of the day, it doesn’t matter. I mean that with no disrespect to him, either. But here’s the situation; he’s in my way. He’s an obstacle and my hunger outweighs whatever desire he has. I will not be denied, Kasey. Not by him, not by anyone. I finished my tenure in FSociety without ever being pinned, without ever being made to submit. I fully intend to start my time here in FAW in that exact same manner.
Kasey: Wow, strong words. Any final thoughts?
Melissa: Yeah. Zooey, I hope you’ll be watching what I’m about to do...
With that Melissa walks off screen, leaving Kasey alone and smiling to the camera.
Kasey: Well, thank you Melissa.
SEGMENT:
Kaleb Price and Scout Donnelly stand talking backstage, the pair seem to be sharing a moment when suddenly Kaleb’s expression changes, grabbing Scout around the waist he swings her out of the way and pushes her across the hall, taking a chair to the back of the head, sending him down immediately.
Scout, obviously shocked takes a moment to collect herself before turning to come face to face with the figure, who is wearing a CLOWN MASK! Scout is still caught on the backfoot though, before she can really react, the masked assailant brings the chair down on her head too, following up with a kick to her gut as she hits the floor.
Stepping over both the bodies, the attacker walks off down the hall.
SEGMENT:
Adam Sanders: What do you mean you have to step outside to take a phone call?
The cameras open up to the backstage area where the young superstar, Adam Sanders is jogging down the hall, pursuing someone the camera can’t see until his voice is audible as well.
Eddie Walker: I will literally be back in a couple of minutes. Relax, kid.
At this point, Sanders has caught up to his manager. The confident smile on the face of the manager is a sharp contrast to the worried, anxious look across the face of the young wrestler.
Adam Sanders: But Eddie, I’m going to be wrestling in a few minutes!
Eddie Walker: Adam, you have to be a bit more independent than that. I know you’re still struggling to get through interviews and promo videos yourself, but you don’t need me in the ring. You do fine once the bell sounds and you don’t actually have to speak.
Adam Sanders: Yes, but what if they want me to talk about my match before it starts? What if a camera crew shows up and I freeze up and can’t talk again?
The manager gives himself a facepalm. He gives a slight wink to the camera, letting them know he sees them even if Adam is completely oblivious that the camera is there.
Eddie Walker: And one day soon, you will be able to be in front of a camera, and be able to speak to everyone who watches you wrestle and cheer you on as if you were just speaking to me. That day will come. One day, the FAW audience will actually know what your voice sounds like. I gotta make a quick phone call. Unlike you, some of my clients aren’t signed yet and I’ve gotta make sure contracts are being done properly for them. So turn around, head back to your locker room, and get ready to win your match against…
Adam Sanders: Noah Nakamura...okay. I will.
Eddie Walker: I believe in you, kid.
Walker opens the door, pulling out his phone to make his phone call. As soon as he does, Adam Sanders turns around and sees the camera looking at him. His eyes get wide like a deer staring down a pair of headlights.
Adam Sanders: Ummm...hi…
Adam pulls on the collar of his shirt nervously.
Adam Sanders: You’ve...umm...been there awhile?
The camera nods, presumably with the man holding the camera.
Adam Sanders: Oh...okay...I’ve gotta...you know, prepare...for my match. I have to...face...Noah...Nakamura. Umm...if you’re...watching, Noah...good luck....
Adam turns on his heels and briskly starts walking away from the camera.
Singles Match
Tristen Blake v Melissa Reeves
Melissa Reeves shows her absolute dominance inside the ring, tearing Tristen apart piece by piece, taking her time with him; slowly picking at his body parts, first going for his knee, the left one being her sole target for a good five minutes inside the ring… She continues her decimation of Blake, showing no mercy in slowly but surely destroying her opponent inside the ring.
It doesn’t take her long to leave him prone in the ring, barely looking as though she’s broken a sweat before she eventually smirks to herself and drops into an easy three count to pick up the win.
Winner: MELISSA REEVES
SEGMENT
The scene cuts backstage to Julian Savell standing in front of a Fuckin’ Awesome Wrestling camera by himself. He’s wearing a fur coat, his wrestling tights and boots, and has an umbrella in hand while his FAW Championship is hanging over his shoulder.
Julian Savell: How long ago has it been since I won this title? How many times have I defended it? Countless times! I’ve been the greatest champion this place has ever seen. I’m a fucking fighting champion. Anyone who has tried to rise, I’ve made fall. Hell, Paz was supposed to be the next big star, some even said the next Ashleigh Jericho in the making! But then I beat the shit out of the little cunt and now she’s back home in Boston, licking her wounds and enjoying the home life with Liam. Oh, congrats on the engagement Paz!
Julian smirks and waves to the camera.
Julian Savell: Once again I have to fight Noah Nakamura. Someone that I’ve bested already. I’ve done things that Noah wouldn’t of been able to do. I beat the shit out of that moron Aidan Collins and defended my belt and I represented FAW with pride. What has Noah done? He dropped his championship so that he could have a shot on mine… Because he wants to be a part of my glory. Well Noah, the only way you’re going to be a part of MY glory is being a part of the story of how I beat you TWICE in Fuckin’ Awesome Championship matches. But maybe, just maybe, this time I’ll give you the Paz treatment. Or maybe I won’t because you know why? Because you’re not as worthy as she was.
Julian cackles before pointing his umbrella towards the camera.
Julian Savell: What do I mean? I mean that Paz was somewhat of a threat. But you? You’re nothing. You mean about as much to me as Sarah Lacklan, who I’m going to cockslap and pin tonight. How can I beat her with a cockslap? Because once Sarah gets one look of my dick, she’s going to faint from all of the blood rushing to her head in excitement. Stupid whore.
Julian shakes his head and rolls his eyes.
Julian Savell: Anyway, I’m pretty sure I’m done talking and I’ve done my promo quota that Fuckin’ Awesome demands of me. You’ve all been blessed today because you listened to a WRESTLING GOD speak!
Julian whistles as he walks out of the screen and the scene fades.
SEGMENT:
The cameras cut to backstage to catering, where Sean Callaghan is enjoying some relaxation time after his match, sitting with his feet kicked up on one of the tables just quietly watching the world go by when Lyric Night walks in, she approaches him with an urgent look on her face which instantly draws his attention.
Lyric Night: Uh, Sean?
He nods signalling she has the right person and her expression immediately grows more concerned, she points behind her towards the hall.
Lyric Night: One of the production assistants sent me to get you, there’s a phone call at the front for you, something about your wife?
Sean’s eyes grow wide, he doesn’t even respond to her, pushing past her he runs out of the catering room and down the hall, straight into the main office room to the left, as he sprints into it, Lyric walks past, clicking the external lock over she glances back over her shoulder ensuring no one saw before she knocks on the door.
Immediately banging and yelling is heard as she walks off down the hall, distracting the production assitant she walks into with a question, so that he turns and follows her in the opposite direction, explaining something inane she asked.
Singles Match
Noah Nakamura v Adam Saunders
At the sound of the match both men exchanged hard shots at each other, neither one backing down. Adam gets the advantage and takes Nakamura down with a big suplex. He follows it up with back to back dropkicks but only gets a two count. Noah battles back and the two use their various strengths against each other. Adam goes for This Is Awkward suplex into a piledriver but Nakamura slides out and is able to connect with his Front Flip DDT, The Nakamura Special for the win.
Winner: NOAH NAKAMURA
SEGMENT:
The scene cuts backstage to Liam Callaghan pacing back and forth in his locker room. He notices the camera crew near him and he steps up to the camera.
Liam Callaghan: What? You think that I didn’t know this you two behind this? That it wasn’t Xavier and Gabriel who attacked and injured Sean? What the FUCK is your problem? You want to play this game? You want to pull a Lennox? Then fine, I’ll take every single Laroux out one by one for fucking with my family, maybe even grandma Laroux!
Liam pauses to catch his breath. His voice is animated and in a very heavy Southie Irish accent that comes out quite prominently when Liam is mad or frustrated.
Liam Callaghan: Gabriel and Xavier are both going to get theirs. I’m sick of these games, I’m sick of the dirty tactics. You want Sean and I to fight dirty? Motherfuckers, we’re the dirtiest fuckers you know. We’re from Southie, we know how to get in the mud and roll around and then come out on top. That’s what you have to deal with.
Liam points his index finger at the camera before giving it a thumbs down.
Liam Callaghan: I’m angry and my target right now? It’s you, Xavier. This lumberjack match is going to be your worst nightmare. When you get thrown out of the ring, I’m going to tear you about… I’m going to MAIM you. Most of all, I’m going to get revenge for what happened to Sean tonight. And then? Then we’re going to be coming for those tag titles. Cause and Effect’s days are numbered… It’s time for everyone to recognize that the Pride of Southie is the future of FAW and wrestling in general.
Liam nods and goes back to his pre-match prep and the scene fades out
Singles Match
Julian Savell v Sarah Lacklan
All of a sudden in the middle of the exciting one on one contest, Cass Baumer strolls out of the curtain and stands in the open with her FAW Hardcore Championship in hand. With a microphone gripped in the palm of her right, the woman wearing a black t-shirt with the silver '#BaumerReport' logo brandished on her chest, "The Headliner" begins to speak.
Cass Baumer: Despite all the talk of burning in the revolution, riding the flames and setting people ablaze... Did you know Sarah Selena Lacklan never lit one fire on a live television broadcast yet?
It becomes immediately apparent that Lacklan is distracted in the ring, Julian uses this to his advantage, nailing his elbow into the back of her head and beating her into the mat, after several hard strikes her goes for a roll up, but Lacklan kicked out.
Cass Baumer: Rumor has it that even though Lacklan's been known to advertise a mass ascension into 'The Red Queen' ever since she was given a shot against Tyson Gregory for the #FSociety Championship at #FSociety Revelation, many people point to the fact that she couldn't even beat me much less Tyson Gregory. While the marketing was cute, Lacklan fell flat of even coming close to living up to 'The Red Queen' moniker. Most think she shouldn't even refer to herself as a 'princess' either.
Lacklan tries to get herself back into the match, but just as she is gaining some momentum inside the ring, she is subject to another distraction, taking a knee to the gut she falls to her knees and receives Julian’s groin thrust into her face, knocking her back with a cocky smirk on his face.
Cass Baumer: People speculate on the reason Lacklan blindly touts herself as Trump's Favorite Queen is likely because she has her head jammed so far up her own ass that she ceases to see the horrific policy behind all of Donald Trump's empty idiotic rhetoric and would rather tweet pictures of Donald Trump's face over the head of Captain America and other superheroes like a six-year-old idolizing her own father. Others believe that Donald Trump makes Sarah Selena Lacklan feel smarter than someone else for the first time in her life so she naturally gravitated towards him.
Just as he is about to take the upperhand, Lacklan brings her knee up between Julian’s legs and sacks him to the mat, she rolls up to her feet and begins to stalk him, setting him up for something...
Cass Baumer: Speaking of fathers, here's some breaking news... I did some quick research... Sarah Selena Lacklan's parents weren't even married! I'm willing to bet Sarah didn't even know that piece of news.
This final ‘announcement’ from Cass causes Lacklan to roll out of the ring, she makes chase up the ramp as Cass darts backstage… Julian is quick to follow, making chase after Lacklan, yelling at her to get back in the ring….
Winner: MATCH DECLARED NO CONTEST
SEGMENT:
The cameras cut backstage, where a fallen Julian Savell lies facedown on the floor out cold, a few assistants hover around as Lyric checks on him, shaking her head slowly.
Lyric Night: Did anyone see what happened?
Everyone shakes their head looking confused. Lyric sits back on her heels with a sigh, looking around at the faces of those standing around her she frowns.
Lyric Night: Someone has to tell Zooey she’s down another Lumberjack, he isn’t doing anything else tonight...
SEGMENT:
Kenzi Grey stormed through the halls, her face twisted into a mask of pure rage over the outcome of her match with Cass Baumer. She made a beeline for Zooey Anderson’s office, barging through the door with no regard for anyone who might have been behind it. The General Manager glanced up, ready to put the rude person in check, but her mood softened as she sat back, casually folding her hands as she looked at youthful television and film star.
Zooey Anderson: Ms. Grey that was a great first showing against our Hardcore Champion. You made a great accounting of yourself with the fans. I’m sure that next time you’ll…
Kenzi cut the General Manager off.
Kenzi Grey: Ms. Anderson, with all due respect…and I mean that…the ONLY reason I lost that match was because of the interference from that fangirl STALKER Lyric Night! She and her cousin have been harassing me for the past two weeks!
Zooey Anderson: Ms. Grey, I personally dealt with Ms. Night and reprimanded her. That should have been the end of it.
Kenzi Grey: You’re right…that SHOULD have been the end of it, but obviously she’s either hard of hearing or she just doesn’t care about your authority!
Kenzi folded her arms as she rolled her eyes, tapping her foot in frustration.
Kenzi Grey: I don’t want to be branded as a whiner or a complainer, but I came to FAW because I wasn’t being treated with respect by the staff of my other company. You made me feel like a valued member of your team…no…a valued member of your FAMILY! I was so happy that I was finally getting treated with respect. Hell, even after Lyric attacked me for no good reason on social media, I didn’t hold that against the company because I knew you’d do the right thing and act quickly. I thought this was over, even after she set her cousin after me…obviously thumbing her nose at you, I thought I could just ignore her…but apparently I was wrong! I cannot work for another company where I cannot trust the staff…I just can’t!
Zooey considered Kenzi carefully before she sat forward.
Zooey Anderson: Ms. Grey…I appreciate you bringing this matter directly to me. Your concerns are noted as they involve Ms. Night…and trust me, this matter will be dealt with…appropriately! You are a highly valued member of the FAW family…and I intend to make this right with you, if you’ll give me the chance.
Kenzi stood there for a moment, quietly considering the General Manager, then she slowly nodded.
Kenzi Grey: Ms. Anderson…I have every confidence that you’ll do the right thing. I’m proud to be a member of the family.
The General Manager smiled.
Zooey Anderson: You won’t regret it Ms. Grey…I promise you…you won’t regret it.
Showcase Championship Match
Ellie Stokes v Cecily Bell
At the sound of the bell, Cece is all over Ellie. She throws punches and kicks in rapid succession, keeping Stokes off balance. Cece keeps up the attack by a big DDT and then tossing Ellie across the ring by her hair. Bell goes for and connects with her High Heels Eatdafeet and makes the cover to win the FAW Showcase Championship.
As Cece Bell celebrates her championship win in the middle of the ring, someone in a clown mask charges into the ring and levels her from behind. The masked assailant picks Bell up and throws her shoulder first into the ring post. The clown pushes Bell out of the ring and throws her into the ring steps before running off into the crowd as security comes charging from the back to the ring.
Winner: CECILY BELL

Zooey stands by the curtain, ready to go out for the match, clearly waiting for something. After a minute or two, Lyric Night arrives with Alaina Laroux; the pair eye Zooey cautiously who smirks, turning to address Lyric.
Zooey Anderson: You need to be out there, I don’t want any fucking around; you were hired to do a job and all I have seen all night is you getting in my way, I want you right where I can see you.
Lyric looks confused, shaking her head she opens her mouth to argue but Zooey holds up a hand to silence her.
Zooey Anderson: Or you can go back, pack your shit and leave… It’s your job, so do it.
Lyric nods not saying anything and glances at Alaina who nods in response, Zooey laughs and shakes her head.
Zooey Anderson: You, where do you think you’re going?
She points at Alaina, but doesn’t wait for her reply, shaking her head again.
Zooey Anderson: You’re not an employee, nor are you welcome at my ring. Stay the fuck out of the way or security will happily remove you from the arena.
Alaina steps up as though to argue but Lyric steps between them, muttering something to her, the pair share a hushed back and forth before Alaina steps off and Lyric nods, turning and walking through the curtain to take her place at ringside.
Lumberjack Match
(Remaining) Lumberjacks: Jade Night, Jacob Daniels, Lennox Daniels, Liam Callaghan,
If Gabriel Laroux interferes with the match in ANY way, Cause & Effect will be stripped of their titles.
Zooey Anderson v Xavier Laroux
The match starts with Zooey already in the ring, she paces up and down with a smirk on her face as Xavier comes out to a warm reaction from the crowd, he stops at the bottom of the ramp as Lennox and Jacob Daniels step forward to block his path to the ring, he sizes them both up, his eyes scanning over Jade and Liam who hang back before he nods and welcomes the couple to come at him.
Lennox doesn’t move at first as Jacob and Xavier square up, it quickly dissolves into a fist fight and Liam jumps in, the pair taking Xavier down as Lennox watches for a moment or two, she moves forward to join in as Jacob backs off and she slams her boot down into the ribs of Xavier, Liam continues to rain down stomps as all three start driving him into the mats with their boots.
Suddenly, Jade grabs Lennox by the hair, wrenching her back she pulls her into a suplex onto the mats, dragging her up by her hair, she turns on the spot and launches Lennox towards the barricade, accidentally throwing her straight into Lyric who is unable to get out of the way in time. Lennox crashes into Lyric, crushing Lyric between herself and the barricade, Jade charges Lennox before seeing her fallen cousin.
Tossing Lennox out of the way she takes a knee to check on Lyric who slowly sits up, holding the back of her head, Lennox takes advantage of the situation, grabbing Jade up she bounces her head off he barricade before picking her up for a rack attack, dropping her down across her shoulders.
Lennox then grabs Jade up by the hair and throws her over the barricade. Whilst this is going on, Daniels and Liam have continued to work over Laroux as Zooey shouts instructions from the ring, Lennox looks over at the fallen Xavier, walking over she leans over him, pointing her finger in his face she yells at him.
Lennox Daniels: I say when it’s fucking done!
She then turns, her eyes set on Lyric who is pulling herself up on the barricade, Lennox charges over with a knee to her gut, she brings Lyric back down to the floor, as she sits up, Lennox lines her up perfectly, snapping her leg back she nails a kick square into Lyric’s face, bouncing her head off the mat and leaving her out cold.
In turn, Jacob scoops up Xavier and nails him with the Bombs Away; dropping Xavier face first into the steel steps. Zooey yells from him to be put in the ring and Daniels picks Xavier up, tossing him onto the apron and rolling him under the bottom rope, where Zooey makes the pin via her foot on Xavier’s shoulder as she stands over him, a twisted smile on her face.
Winner: ZOOEY ANDERSON
Zooey kicks him from the ring with a smirk, as Xavier rolls to the outside she calls for a mic. Lennox and Jacob get in the ring and stand either side of Zooey as she is handed a mic, she starts to pace up and down behind them.
Zooey Anderson: Tonight, was about sending a message… You don’t have to like me, you don’t have to like my methods, but you WILL respect me and my decisions; something a few of you have failed to do tonight…
Jade, you assured me that I would not be disappointed and yet, here I stand, appalled and disgusted by your choice in sides, you made an enemy here tonight, when you had so few friends to begin with… I KNOW you were behind these attacks tonight and I also know of at least ONE person who would like to get their revenge… Next Delirium, you will face Julian Savell, in a No Holds Barred match!
As the audience boos, she laughs and shakes her head. Turning to look at Jacob who nods approvingly, she smiles at him and taps him on the arm for a job well done.
Zooey Anderson: And as for your little cousin there, since she seems to think her place is interfering with MY ring… She can step inside it; Kenzi, I told you that you wouldn’t be disappointed didn’t I? Next week, as my new right hand gal, you will get the chance to exact revenge on the person who cost you your debut victory… Lyric Night.
Jade, who has now gotten to her feet starts yelling at Zooey, jumping back over the barrier she considers going at her but instead drops to her knees, looking over Lyric who is still out cold she shakes her head, signalling to her prone body.
Zooey Anderson: Oh, she’ll be just fine… But whilst we are on the subject of those who are unfit to compete… Xavier, clearly will not be able to do so and will be taking the next show off - no chance in hell he’s getting cleared for competition in two weeks…
HOWEVER, Cause and Effect fans, don’t worry because the one person who did follow the rules tonight, was the noticeably absent Gabriel Laroux… Who will be awarded for his obedience in a match next show against Cecily Bell…
In her first Showcase Championship defense!
The announcement draws a mixed reaction as Jade stares up into the ring, Lyric and Xavier lain out either side of her, the camera focuses in on the three people inside the ring.
Aaron Bass: Holy shit what a show!
Kimberly Humphries: I can’t imagine there’s going to be many people happy with what went down tonight…
Aaron Bass: Who cares?! A Showcase Championship defense AND the one and only Bryan Sweet will be gracing our ring with an ass kicking for Dirk Bentley; so be sure to tune in so you don’t miss it.
